Great book for aspiring athletes. Got it for my sport obsessed kid and he loves it! He’s 5 and he loves reading it at night! Definitely a great book for sport lovers! I love that it highlights the challenges that the athletes faced and outcome after dedication and hard work teaching kids it doesn’t just come on a silver platter for many of the athletes they idolize that no matter what limitation you have in life you can overcome if you work hard.

Got this for our grandson who is an avid sports player and history buff. Read through it before giving it to him and the stories are easily relatable and easy to understand. A book he will think of when he is on his journeys and needs some inspiration.

Terrific read and as the title promises, truly inspirational.A lot of kids who watch sports stars at the top of their game think that either it was down to a lucky break, or that they themselves aren't capable of doing the same.This little book dispels both of these myths. Many top players worked incredibly hard to achieve their success and if you're willing put in the same time and effort, then you can follow in their footsteps.It won't be easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is and isn't that a valuable life lesson!
