Sort of like a shortbread cookie, but ( for me ) tastes better. I have three or four a day, with milk.However, they are not particularly nutritious ( high fat, high sugar, modest fiber ) and as far as I can tell there is no "digestive" value other than what you would get with any food.I would eat more of these per day, but the amount of fat and sugar are a detriment. Of everything I eat, these are the most fattening and most sugary.

This has become my favorite cookie. I now prefer a crispy cookie with tea and being diabetic, the low sugar content allows me to have this satisfying snack!

As far as I can tell Simply Beautiful is the only seller that packs these in a box. No more receiving a flimsy bag and the biscuits all smashed up. Well worth the few extra cents they charge for this six pack.

This seller dumped 6 packets of McVities into an overly large box with one 'pillow' and expected the contents to arrive as Digestive Biscuits. We order McVities consistently through Bolo, and usually most of them arrive in acceptable condition, so we were very disappointed this time. McVitties provides a wonderful product, and it is a shame to treat it so badly that it is almost inedible. Please, Bolo, ask sellers to package more carefully.

They taste great. It has a generous expiration date. They are sturdy. No problem with too many crumbs. This has been a favorite in our family for a long time. Fairly priced.

I first encountered these while visiting the UK. They taste great because they are not very sweet, which is lovely with a cup of tea. I've purchased a few times and mostly they have been packaged very well. The last time I got them, they were just in a box with a bunch of other items and so there are a number of crushed ones or broken ones.
