This was my first time ever sublimating on slate. My dad had recently passed away and I wanted to make something special. After creating my design I placed it in my heat press and hoped for the best. I did some research on time and temp, but at the moment I can't tell you what it was. I did make sure my design was on the bottom face up on the slate and the back of the slate was on top so the heat transferred through the slate onto the design. It turned out prefect and now I have my own memorial piece of my dad. If you take your time, do your research you can print beautiful slates. This company is great and I had no problems with their slates.

I used my Cricut auto press set to 360 degrees for 600 seconds with the paper side facing down and the slate side up. I have never sublimated with the paper away from the top plate, but it worked beautifully. The color is vibrant and the finish is glossy. Great value for the money.
