Love this!!! It came in handy when my son got into an accident. Everything was in his favor, this might not have been the case if he didn’t have video proof! The video quality was perfect!

Third and final edit:My initial gopro 11 battery melted while charging, which could have been a fire hazard. Luckily I was in the room and noticed the burnt smell. Only a couple months old barely used camera.Then they send us a replacement that now that it is day 1 of trying to use it, it just simply won’t turn ON even. We tried 3 recommended memory sd cards, none work even thought they are in the gopro list of cards to get… i cannot even get the camera to turn ON. I have never been so dissatisfied with a camera ever. Sony builds ever lasting cameras gopro builds cameras that either set on fire or the replacement won’t even turn on. And i tried 2 fully charged batteries and 3 memory cards … how terrible is this?? What a waste of money and time…—————-Editing my review as after reaching out to GoPro customer support they are sending us a replacement, since we are inside the warranty period.Hopefully the replacement will work well, as the battery on this one never worked well. Fingers crossed._________________________________________________________________________________________________I would NOT recommend this camera at all.Being a scuba diver means I have had a few excellent cameras, some of them lasting 10 years despite all the underwater pressure and what not.Well this one is not even a year old, it has only gone on a snorkeling trip, no diving, and it is already busted.I had issues with it from day 1, never liked it as much as my other water cameras. I felt the battery was bad only charging for a couple hours worth of use. Not my favorite camera at all but it was working until we place it to charge as usual and 3 hours later we found the cable melted into the unit. Basically burned in... so disappointing. I have contact GoPro so far crickets..We are months away from the 1 year warranty, so I will update to see what they do in situations like this.

Great quality, easy to use, connects with app right away. Camera overheats after around 10 minutes of use in highest quality so I dinged a start on that.

I love using this camera to capture some of the outdoor things we do as a family. We've taken it on hikes, fishing trips, springs, river rides, vacations etc. The image quality is awesome.The only thing i dislike it that on hot days in florida it overheats in the middle of recording and sometimes you don't even notice, causing you to lose footage.

I’ve enjoyed this product better than the Hero 11 Black for many reasons. As someone who is relentlessly busy, I have greatly enjoyed the simplicity that this camera offers. Although I thought I would miss having the photo option, you can still capture a lot of photos from the video modes, which are all mostly the same as the ones on the GoPro Hero 11. Other features I like include the light weight nature of the camera and its miniature size. It feels pretty weightless on my helmet and hides easily in my bag. For some reason I have yet to figure out, the mini handles auto upload immediately and I rarely if ever have had to reset it due to battery issues. Because I have so little time, I have found this camera the one I prefer because its more simplistic nature means it’s easier to turn it on and start filming. While I do appreciate the Hero 11 Black, this little one has required a lot less fussing and is easier to take on the go. I like that I can just strap it on my head and forget about it.If GoPro came out with another Mini (and I would definitely be an interested consumer if that happens), I would want one additional feature, which I think would be nice for all the GoPros: A find similar to what is on IPhones. Although I don’t lose these cameras, I think it would be the one feature that would help for those times when life gets a little hectic.
Don't buy the Hero 11
My third go pro, have been generally happy with them all so far but first hike, 1 week after receiving it got water logged when in shallow water, not even diving down.... 2 months later finally got a reply from go pro, still not resolved - will update if someone positive happens.Regretting not going for the DJI this time round
INCOMPLETE UNIT!! Disappointing, frustrating
The product is sold incomplete, no micro sd card (without which you can't even setup the camera), no quick start instructions - why don't they add a few more rupees and give a COMPLETE UNIT!! Disappointing, frustrating
Ok… but…
It’s ok… but:1- the cold shoe isn’t really standard and doesn’t accommodate some accessories that would otherwise fit on a cold shoe (Saramonic lav mic for example)2- the volta doesn’t deliver enough power to charge the GoPro while it’s recording. If you make a long recording the battery will still drain and you will run out, so make sure you still buy extra batteries if you’re planning a day of recording, or plan for long breaks to give the Volta time to effectively recharge the GoPro.
