We bought the KEN BROWN 12-Inch Shutter Exhaust Fan for our house, and it works perfectly fine! The installation was easy, especially with the included 1.65-meter power cord kit, and it runs quietly but powerfully. It does an excellent job of ventilating our space, keeping the air fresh and reducing humidity.The 1800 CFM high-speed airflow is impressive, and the aluminum shutters open and close smoothly. It’s built sturdy and durable, making it a great choice for attics, sheds, or even a garage.For the price, this fan is a great investment—efficient, well-built, and works just as expected. Highly recommend! ✅

Installed in ceiling of my shop to draw in cool air during the night. Helps reduce the need for air conditioning during the day. Have it on a timer. Also will be useful in exhausting fumes, etc from projects. So far it is working great and is pretty quiet. Don’t forget to open window or door or fan will Starve for air and Louvers won’t fully open.

Great little exhaust fan. Easy enough to install alone. Having a template printed in the bottom of the box would have been helpful. But all dimensions are included, if you’re into measuring and stuff.No timer, thermostat, or fan speed control, so it’s either off (unplugged) or on. That’s fine since I had an outlet nearby, and I only want it to run while I’m present.Recommend

I've been struggling for years on some option to get a good fan for my crank windows in my house. I stumbled on this option. You can see the cutout that I made in the photo. This 12x12 fan fits right in there with the window and everything.It is much quieter than I expected considering the amount of air it supposedly moves. Honestly it doesn't feel like it moves a ton of air but sometimes that is hard to tell from the suck side. Seems like it's made reasonably well too. I picked this over other models since it had a cord already attached, it's a pretty thick cord which I appreciate.My only qualm is that the motor gets pretty hot. After running for an hour it's close to 130°F right on the motor. That being said the hot air around the motor should be getting drawn outside considering the location so it shouldn't be a problem for the room, just don't touch the thing.I was originally looking at getting an attic fan for the house but this moves 1/8 of the air at 1/20 of the cost so it seems like I could build from here as I see fit..

The fan works well, was difficult to install in my sheet metal building because I had to make a metal frame to bolt it solidly. It is quiet. There is no thermostat to turn it on/off automatically, so I added one separately. I am pleased with it.

A great fan to help cool my high-ceiling garage with a mezzanine that gets hotter than hades in the summer. Solid, heavy construction and really easy to install.I’ve got double-hung windows on both ends of the garage near the peak and I cut a piece of plywood with a 14” square hole to replace the lower sash and mounted the fan on the plywood.I opened the window on the other side about 1/4 of the way to allow cross ventilation.I installed an inexpensive thermostat on the mezzanine side at the same height as the fan so I could adjust the temperature without climbing a ladder.The 14” fan is quiet and moves a lot of air.

Not the highest quality but decent enough for my use. Don't pre-cut hole based on measurements shown in pics - too big and puts mounting holes right on edge of cutout.

Purchased this to keep a charge on our generator year round. Outstanding, quality and price.
Good fan
The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because the shutters don't open up all the way. I need to open them fully by hand. Then they don't fully close so I need to manually do that. The fan itself is awesome.
