How well it Mixes:Mixes about the same as every protein powder I've tried in the past 15 years. With a spoon you'll get a layer of small lumps float to the top. I got best results with water. Toss the powder in a blender with some ice and water or milk and you'll avoid lumps altogether.Unless there's a brand out there doing something wildly different with Whey Protein, I think a percentage of each scoop will always float to the top or stick to the sides of your cup. So I consider this normal for Whey Protein.Taste:It tastes like chocolate and has a pleasant peanut butter aftertaste. Protein powder flavors have been pretty decent nowadays but this one surprised me by getting the peanut butter flavor right. Having tried it with both Whole Milk as well as Water, I think the flavors best with water. Whole milk is creamier all together though.Note:Heads up, It's 30g Protein per scoop. The scoop is big. Takes 2 scoops to make 60g as per the instructions on the side.

It mixes okay with just a spoon, though expect a few lumps unless you use a shaker or blender.One thing to be aware of: the 60g of protein on the front label only applies if you use two full scoops. Most people use just one, which gives you 30g — still a decent amount, but it means you're only getting about 9 servings per 1.8 lb container, not as much as it might seem at first glance.Overall, if you're looking for a decent protein at a good price and don’t mind the flavor being just average, this is a good choice. Just read the back label carefully so you know what you're getting.

It has finally happened. I'm old enough I really need to increase my protein level. I've always hated the bland taste and gritty texture of the protein powders, better for one and lack the fillers premixed protein shakes have in them. This one when simply using a shaker cup and water is smooth and delicious!! I was so surprised. I bought a small blender for under $20. Adding fruit, yogurt, nuts, ice cream, all kinds of things I like or I just shake it and go. I've found using water and a couple of tablespoons of liquid coffee creamer in a favorite flavor is quick also and very good. I will subscribe as soon as I see how often I need refills.

Fantastic way to get your protein!!! I was very surprised at how good this stuff tastes! I got the chocolate and just mixed/shook it with cold water. It mixed well and the taste is the best I have ever had with a protein powder. My go to protein fix from now on!!

Body Fortress has placed "60" grams protein in big letters on the front of their product. In reality, each serving contains 30 grams of protein. They could just as easily have placed "90" grams or "120" grams for all the meaning that it has.They must believe that this dishonest labeling gives them an edge on the shelf against competitors when potential customers are viewing products in this category. But doesn't it make you wonder about how honest they are about their product ingredients and claims?I'd decided to vote with my feet on this one.

I don’t write reviews very often, but this product is different than any other. I’ve used like it. It doesn’t lump up. I don’t need an electric mixer to stir it. I put it in a hand shaker shake it about 20 times and it comes out smooth no lumps. I’m on my second Order.
