5.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking light fixture with a nice looking price tag!
I was looking around for a light that I could mount above my bed, to take over for a desk lamp that I had on a head board shelf. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on it. So, that limited my options a bit. I also wanted to get something that wouldn't have the bare bulb in my line of sight while reading in bed. But, I was also nervous about having a weird shadowy overcast from the fixture's frame, on the ones that pointed upwards. This one is neat, as it gives you the option to choose what direction the shade points. So, I could pick the lesser annoying position.I was a little nervous about what condition the item would be in when it arrived. As, I read some other reviews that they received a unit that had a shattered shade and/or scratched frame. I was relieved to find that mine showed up in fine shape. No major flaws to make note of.I made some modifications to the round base that mounts to the wall. As, I don't have an electrical box in the location that I was planning to install the fixture. So, I had to put some holes in the base, to run a power cord and mount a pull chain. Which, if you plan to do similar, I would definitely recommend using an actual drill and not a little hobby tool and metal files because you're too lazy to go to the garage/basement to get the power tools. Cause, holy crap did that take a long time to bore out the holes that way. Also, be careful with how much pressure you apply when drilling or filing. As, the metal can flex out of shape without too much effort. It's plenty solid under normal conditions, though.Anyway, I did use the circular mounting bracket to mount the fixture onto. But, I just screwed it into a wall stud with some wood screws that I already had. It mounted just fine that way. Though, the base didn't get as flush to the wall as I would have liked, seeing as the mounting depth of the plate was different than what it was intended for. But, other than that, it's definitely staying in place, and works just fine!I decided to have the bulb/shade pointing toward the ceiling, so I wouldn't have it shining in my face while in bed. I was pleasantly surprised that the lighting is relatively even, without a weird shadow cast from the frame!A few minor quirks aside, I'm quite happy with how things turned out with this light fixture! It looks quite nice (aside from my less than graceful power cord addition) and does its job just fine!

Absolutely loved the simplicity of this light. It was easy to install and so far there have been no issues. Easy to clean also and gives the look I wanted.

Good light. Some build issues and assembly that didn't make sense, especially the mounting bracket, but for the price good enough to get five stars. For my space it looks better upside down!

I initially gave these scone light fixtures a low rating because I was really disappointed when they first arrived. The color was wrong, and one had noticeable scratches on the side that made it look like it might have been a returned item. At the time, I didn’t even want to check if they worked.However, the seller went above and beyond to make things right. They issued me a full refund and allowed me to keep the product. I decided to install the sconces, and despite not being the color I originally wanted, they actually look really nice! The scratches aren’t as noticeable once they’re mounted, and they work perfectly.I truly appreciate the seller’s prompt and kind response to my concerns, and because of that, I feel confident buying from them again. Mistakes happen, but how they handled it shows they care about their customers.
