I have curly hair and these are great for combing up the curls. The black brush has two type of bristles, finer ones and larger ones. The white one is just larger single bristles. The black one does a better job of lifting and separating my hair. Love how the curve fits my scalp. They are comfortable on the head and generally my hair looks better after using one of these than after using a flat brush. Love the curve.

I have hair like a lions mane. So much hair, bushy and gets tangled fairly easy. Plus with bleaching over the years it is painful using certain brushes. This one works like a dream. Works great wet or dry.
