5.0 out of 5 stars I dig it!

More like 600 watts when used with a pair of 4ohm speakers. Still plenty loud. Slick, led light meters and light up volume knobs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Plenty of quality power

Excellent amp with a solid punch. Great buy, quality and power. I've been using this for months now and more than satisfied with the unit.

1.0 out of 5 stars This amp is garbage...

    J.O. · March 17, 2025

This is a real weak amp and it's definitely not 6000 watts. It can't even handle my 2 1200 watt speakers, it always starts protecting after 20 minutes of use and you would have to keep turning your volume lower and lower until it don't even make sense to have it on

3.0 out of 5 stars Not really pro, but has some good points

    B. · September 16, 2023

Pros:o Quiet, low noise amplificationo Excellent frequency response and linearity, ~1 dBo The 200 damping factor will help with highly reactive speakerso Outputs are muted until the amps are stable after power-upo Fans are quiet, low speed at normal power levels.o Reasonable amount of power *for the price*o Visually interesting VU-like metering. It's fun to watch, if not accurate.o Good looking fit and finish.o Arrives feet installed for non-rack usage, very easy to remove for rackingo Sturdy handles for moving the amplifier around or dealing with rack mountingo Relatively lightweight compared to class AB amplifiersCons:o Odd size for a rack. More then 2 vertical spaces, less than 3 (this is truly bizarre.)o No standby switch. It's on, or it's off. Period.o Claims to have 1/4 inch speaker outputs: False. Wrong kind of Speakon jack for that.o "Signal" lights do not respond until there is a LOT of signal. Pointless.o 6000 watt "peak" claim... Perhaps ~500 watts RMS @ 4 ohms, or ~250 RMS at 8 ohms.o Level knobs lack calibration marks except at min, center, and max.OverviewI am using two of these set up in a bi-amp configuration, one amp is driving dual 15 inch, 8 ohm (8 ohm total impedance, two 4-ohm voice coils in series) drivers on each side from 151 Hz and below, the other amp is driving 8 ohm mid/tweeter arrangements for 151 Hz and above on each side, using dual active crossovers on the amplifier's inputs, set for 12 dB/octave slopes. Audio routing is all via XLR cables. The resulting sound quality is excellent.I am content with the output power for my situation (and understood that the 6000 watt "peak" claim was nonsense before I purchased them), but keep in mind I am working in my home music studio, not trying to fill a club with sound, use onstage, etc. These are *not* high power amplifiers and are not even close to adequate for such a role. What I wanted was a solid set of amps at a couple hundred watts into 8 ohms, and that's exactly the class these amps fit into. The pretty VU-like metering is definitely entertaining, but in the end, it doesn't really tell you much about what's going on. The single green "signal" LEDs literally don't tell you when there's signal present, only when there is HUGE signal present, and the meters already do that (and sooner), so the signal LEDs are useless. It's easy to have music running through the amp at a listenable output level with no indication at all on either the signal LEDs *or* the meters. If the meters are indicating, the output is pretty high.I can't tell you about the clipping indicators, because I have never driven the amps into clipping (that can be a *really* bad idea for both the amps and the speakers they are driving. Don't do that.) I can only presume they work.I have not tried to connect to either amplifier using bluetooth, as that is really not compatible with a bi-amped setup. My audio is crossed over before input, and fed in using XLR. The output is connected via binding post (because the 1/4" jack claim for output connections is false, sigh.) One thing that seems important to note is that there are no receiving antennas or jacks for bluetooth on the rear and this is a closed, grounded steel case, so I would expect the bluetooth receiving range to be relatively short. You might be better off with a standalone bluetooth receiver fed into the amp's audio inputs. This is speculation, however.Note that there is exactly one set of RCA inputs. These amps do not have inputs for multiple sources as the marketing here describes at one point. The accurate way to describe the amp is that you could connect an FM source *or* an MP3 source, *not* both. The amp may switch the RCA inputs off if you connect a source via bluetooth; perhaps someone will try that and report in their review. The lighting around the gain controls is too bright for my taste, but that really *is* a matter of taste, so I'm just throwing that out there. You can see in the photo I provided just how bright they are relative to the metering,So in summary, these amps are actually pretty nice, but the marketing here is not very accurate on a number of points. If you're looking for moderate power, good quality amplification, I can recommend the amp. If you're looking to rack mount, keep in mind the odd sizing and make sure you can live with it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lack of continuous power is disappointing.

    C.H. · March 25, 2023

This amp obviously has plenty of "peak" power, but lacks any real continuous power to get the best sound from any decent pair of speakers. I got them in the hope that they would power some speakers better than the 2 amps rated at 3000 watts, but I was disappointed by the results. The sensitivity of the volume controls are nice to have and the amount of noise is acceptable but they quickly start "clipping" and distorting the music at even moderate volumes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional product..
