I like these spirals. I’m a handletterer and they fit the bill for me. I carry little spirals around with me wherever I go and these are great and portable. They were a great value for the money. I like the texture and thickness of them just know they don’t work super well with cheap or kid’s markers. The pages are a bit too textured for those types. With the markers I have used, there hasn’t been an issue with bleeding but Copic style alcohol markers would definitely bleed through to the back….maybe not into the next page, though. I recommend these.

These sketch books are amazing! You get two for a amazing price! And with how small they are, they are perfect for small drawings and others! Easily portable and don't take up too much space or anything! Plenty of pages to fill up with drawings for all those artists out there! Took me a good while to even finish up one of them! I definitely would recommend this deal! Amazing deal for two small sketchbooks!

These are incredibly cheap and I’d consider them very, very good for their price. The paper is a little thin, so I’m not sure I’d recommend markers or felt-tip pens for use unless you use a paper between the page and its following one OR are fine with the color bleeding . They’re also compact and easy to bring with me when I go on trips; personally I use mine for thumbnail concepts and doodles, so they’re convenient.Tldr; Decent paper quality if you like smooth, little texture, paper and cheap sketchbooks!

the paper is slightly thick but not completely bleed-proof, and there was specks of dirt and dust inside of the plastic wrap for packaging. the cover’s paint/ink bled onto the first page, making it look dirty but its not a bother to me. it’s good for travel use or taking notes but not a full-time sketchbook. definitely lives up to $5 quality, but would recommend better paper and a more expensive brand if you were looking for a sketchbook for school or something more professional.

I know it might be a little strange to be writing a review for something as simple as a notebook. But, being someone that loves to write notes: these are the most ideal and perfect notebooks that you could buy. I have repurchased these 4 times. If you're looking for nice paper, that won't have ink bleed through the pages. Just buy these. You won't regret it.
