I used peanut oil with an 18lb fresh turkey at TG, and this almost blackened. Still delicious! Will buy this every year. I made a butter concoction for under the skin as well. I spatchcocked a chicken tonight, weekend later, and smoked on my ZGrill and it was better on that. It has some kick obviously.

I used this seasoning for the first time this year, and everyone loved it.I purchased the "Hardcore Carnivore Turkey Kit" (Seasoning was in the kit). I had two large turkey breasts and six thighs and used the brine in the kit to do an 18-hour brine. Then, Thanksgiving morning, I did a quick rinse, seasoned them with this seasoning, and smoked them. This came out so good that I'll probably never fry another turkey.
