I have the A7RV and for some reason i’ts a bit difficult to fit it onto my camera and doesnt snap in easily like other lenses.

- Focus ring slides a bit too easily. Focus is clearest when lined up exactly with the infinity symbol, but it's very easy for it to slide just to the side and throw that out of wack, giving you an image less clear than you expected.+ Circular fisheye! A rare type of lens for a unique style of photo.+ WIDE angle of view. 225 degrees, whereas most other fisheye lenses are 180. However...- that wide wngle is almost too wide, because your feet are gonna end up in a lot of photos. Maybe even your tripod legs, probably your fingers too.- You'll probably have to hold your camera strangely if you don't want your fingers on the side of the shot. If you use this on some cameras, it's so small and has such a wide view that you'll even get the GRIP in the shot.+ small and light- lens cap slides off too easily.- Weirdly difficult to get on and off the camera , compared to other e-mount lenses.So I use this APS-C lens primarily on a Sony a6000, which is a small, light APS-C camera and the grip is not very deep, so it doesn't get the grip in the shot. Luckily, it doesn't seem to get it in the shot on the (full frame) A7C either. But on other Sony FF cameras that have deeper grips, I wonder if it will be in there? With how easily fingers get in the shot, even on the a6000, I wonder.Ironically, the small size and light weight were part of the appeal, but instead of getting that benefit, I end up having to take this thing attached to a second camera body, which... well, of course, balances out those benefits of size and weight.It's just something strange about how it attaches to the camera. The process of putting it on and taking it off is a little stiffer than other lenses, on either my a6000 or A7C. So when going out, I basically just leave this on my a6000 and use it just as the fisheye camera. The way the lens cap so easily falls off is another part of that equation. It makes lens switching extra stressful because of just how easily and frequently it slips right off there.But! When you get the focus just right, and hold it just right (try to keep those fingers and feet out of the shot)... it can actually give you some pretty unique photos. Best sharpness is at about f/4 or 5, and then gets softer around f/10 or so.The most important part, the photos, are of good technical quality. It's just the act of taking them that is a little tricky and portability that might not be what you expected. At $150, I think it's priced just right. To charge more than that would be silly because of the inconvenience and other quirks.I'm glad I got it, I like the photos I can get with it, but won't be using it as much as I expected, because of the actual process of using it.

Make sure you have a camera without a grip on it! this thing can see behind itself. Fun to shoot with but images were soft near the edges but who cares?!? Absolutely perfect for what I wanted. I had to pull out my older Panasonic GX-7 which has no grip in order to use the lens. I knew this going in so I had expected it to be an issue with my OM-1, so no big deal.

I was disappointed because it was not the one for my camera but came in a bundle with other lenses that was for my camera.

No era lo que esperaba, me lo imagina mejor, pero siento que tiene algunas cosas que pueden mejorar.Cosas que me parecen que puede ser mejor:La montura, yo compré para Sony y siento que tuve que ejercer más presión que la que se deba…También siento que debería ser un poco más largo y así evitar que se vean los dedos del operador.

En tout cas, c'est ce qui se passe avec le boitier OM1 (anciennement Olympus).Après mûre réflexion, j'ai arrêté la stabilisation automatique du boitier, et tout mouvement anormal a disparu permettant d'obtenir une image correcte au mieux au centre. La qualité globale de l'image me paraît acceptable.
