I bought this kit of the 4 cal, 7 cal, and CalPod mostly for the CalPod. I like that calibration solution can be added for use that can then be sealed off to keep for a short period of time as well as be a nice modular solution holder to make calibration easier. I looked around to just buy the CalPod, which I could only find for ~20 at the cheapest. So, I bought the kit to get some calibration solution and the pod. It comes with some little labels for more than just pH, which is nice because I also wanted to do some EC calibration.

The 4.0 fluid needs refreshed often. Won’t calibrate my pH meter to 4.1 except on first calibration of the day.

Had an older model Ph-80 that sat in a drawer for a year and had a dried out wick, Soaked it in the storage solution for 20 min cleaned it with distilled water calibrated first with 4.0 and it hit dead nuts then the 7.0 same thing. Fahrenheit was right at 67.0 degrees and I was happy I know these solutions are expensive and I don’t know why but it was the best deal on Bolo and it worked for me your mileage may vary but I had to give a positive review. The only thing I didn’t like is it was shipped in a Bag not an over Box for protection and I hate that for sure come on Bolo.

Bottles were open and leaked
Bolo package was fine .. the apera box was fine that everything came in.. but the calibration 10.1 bottle was open an leaked about 3" down.. the 4.0 bottle was down 2" and the 7.0 bottle was down and inch from top. Only bottle that was sealed was the storage liquid ... not happy, not ordering from flamingo again
