I can’t rave about these enough, they are well made, easy to install, sleek looking and make such a huge impression. I love the different temperatures available and that they’re dimmable. Because I have a flat roof with no attic access, I had to install them from under the ceiling, which was doable with a guiding coat hanger as a wire and minimal drilling through joists. The tools I needed: 14/2 electrical wire spool, electrical tape, 6” hole cutter saw drill bit and ABSOLUTELY BUY THE DUST BOWL ATTACHMENT, the job can get dirty quick, stud finder, voltage tester and that’s it. 75% of the job is just running the wire, a little time consuming, but once that’s all done you can finish the install in about 15 minutes just hooking it all up after daisy chaining. I will absolutely be changing my entire home to have this lighting, it’s incredible.

These lights work beautifully! Very bright, work well with our dimmer switch, and they were very easy to install (once I had the holes cut and the wires run and properly hooked up, that is...).For these 6 inch lights, make sure to get a 6.25 inch hole saw, the standard 6 inch is too small. The springs are strong enough to hold well in the ceiling, but they're not so strong that they rip the drywall out when I pull them back out, so if we ever need to change the color temperature, pulling them out to modify the switch on the box should be easy peasy.

I used 21 of these lights to retrofit several built in fluorescent fixtures from the 90's, in the kitchen & bathrooms. The 4" spot was a perfect fit for all of them. Wiring was simple with the control boxes. I needed to daisy chain the spots in gangs of 3 per panel which was easy to do. It saved me $$$$ over replacing the fixtures, which are an integral part of the cabinets. The only issue I had was the supplied connectors. I was using stranded 16awg wiring and these connectors only work well with either braided or solid wiring. it wasn't a problem since the control boxed easily accommodated using standard wire nuts, which I did. The selector Lumen switch was a big plus as I could dial in the brightness I needed in each room. The lights have been in use now for a month, with no problems.

I've installed nearly 100 of these Amico 6-inch Ultra-Thin LED Recessed Lights, with about 40 in my own home, and they work wonderfully! They're very DIY-friendly, but if you're unfamiliar with electrical work, I’d recommend consulting a professional. These lights come with three brightness settings, and as someone who enjoys a bright home, they’re perfect. I’ve had them in place for almost two years now, and out of the 40, only one had a minor issue due to a loose cable, which was an easy fix. Great quality and highly recommended!

***Update***Within hours of writing my review I was contacted by the company to address the problem. I'm satisfied with the resolution and do feel that the seller stands behind their product. I would order from them again in the future.***Original Review***I've installed around 10 of these lights over the past year.Recently, one started blinking, and then stopped working altogether.Thinking it was the light, I tried to switch it out with one I hadn't installed yet, but that didn't work and so I figured it had to be the junction box.After switching out the junction box (with one from the same set that I hadn't yet installed), the light worked fine.I opened the nonfunctioning junction box to see what had been going on, and it appears there'd been a short and that it had burned the board.I don't know whether this could have caused a fire - perhaps the company uses fire resistant materials and this actually worked as intended. I probably won't uninstall any of the others that I've already installed unless this happens again - but I don't know that I'd install any more in new locations.So in sum - the seem well constructed, are easy to install, and look great, but there's a potential risk for a short on the board.

These lights are very bright and adjustable for color temperature. The clean finish gives a sleek and prestigious look. The amount of brightness on the ceiling is also noticeable. The installation was easy for the electrician who enjoyed working with these lights or spotlights, especially considering the reasonable price.

We recently added 12 of these to our family room area. They are so thin that they were able to be installed directly below rafters from above. The five different color temperatures, ranging from very warm to daylight cool, are a great feature. We actually change them after they were installed because we wanted a warmer feel. They also dim smoothly with no flickering.

Just as I said in the caption, they're very bright lights! You can change the color from warm to cool, mine are set at cool and my house is SO bright! I'd say the price is a bargain for the quality you're getting. They sit flush to the ceiling, and fit well in any room. The contractors had them installed within the day, so I reckon they're easy to install
