This product doesn’t dissolve, when put in water or juice it sinks to the bottom of the drink in a mud like consistency. I have to keep shaking the drink to get the powder to mix so it can be consumed. It would work better in a smoothie or shake, but I don’t consume either. Flavor is not strong.

I first hand-stirred this green powdered supplement in 8 ounces of cold water; it took quite some time for it to dissolve completely. It has a mild aroma and flavor that is both vegetal and like green apples; pleasant enough but not really for me as a standalone drink. Using a mini-processor, I then made a smoothy with only this powder, crushed ice, added flavors to my liking, crushed ice, and a touch of milk. It came out the consistency of a somewhat icy soft serve “ice cream”. I was hoping my preferred flavors would mask the vegetal / apple flavors but it did not, so it may very well appeal to others but it’s just not for me. There are some issues I do have with this product: 1) there is no information on the container, in the Bolo listing, or on the maker’s Website regarding the source of the ingredients, where the product is produced, or if they have any certifications; and 2) much of the label is very difficult to read, e.g., nutritional information is tiny very light text on a bright green label; tiny print with little color contrast (to read the nutritional information and take photos I had to use an illuminated magnifying glass). It would also be nice if a serving scoop were included (the suggested size is 1.5 tablespoons per 6-8 ounces of water or to add to a smoothy, etc. This is an US based company, so I did try the powder without too much concern but the above 2 items would be an issue for me to consider as a long-term user. For my personal tastes, this product is just not for me; perhaps a different flavor would be more enjoyable. I would like to think the company uses top quality ingredients and the product is made using best in class production, etc.; I believe that could be the case here but for me more transparency is needed for an item I would eat regularly.
