Product arrived on time with two day Prime shipping, it appears to be made of heavy duty material. It fit into the two T channels on my garage door perfectly and so far hasn't popped out when it closes. Provides a tight seal when the door is closed. I appreciated the two end caps that fit into the round portion of the seal to prevent dirt from getting in and these actually reinforce the ends of the seal so it keeps its shape.Easy install but like others have posted, it takes two people about 5 minutes to slide in, one feeding, one pulling, I was spraying Dawn soapy water on the seal as we were slowly pulling it into the channels.I'm satisfied with the purchase, time will tell how it holds up to the summer heat but I would recommend.

I bought the 22ft roll for my 20 ft garage door. Many reviews say it's short by a few inches so I wanted to be sure I had enough. As it turned out the product measured almost 22ft +1 inch on an 85 degree day in Houston. The product was soft and pliable and well packaged in a roll..Installation tips/requirements which helped me, your results may vary.It does take two people to install this seal in the track, one to pull and the other to bend the seal into the U shape and carefully guide the T-edge into the track. If not properly held and guided into the channels the T edge will come out. BOTH sides of each T must be in the channel to secure it properly in place. If one edge pops out you need to back up the seal until it is seated in the track before continuing with the installation. Failure to do this will cause the seal to fall out of the track later on.Be fore you start, make sure the track guide channels are clean of all sand and dirt as well as the rubber edges on the door seal. I had mud in mine which needed to be brushed out and wiped clean with a wet rag. Also make sure all screws that attach the track to the door are tight and fully seated to prevent the seal from catching them during the installation.I found dish soap/water did help in the beginning but dried quickly and stopped the seal from sliding in the tracks unless I kept the entire length wet. This goes for both the channels and rubber seal.I switched to a Klein Tools Clear Wire Lubricant used to help pull wires through conduit. This is a safe clear lubricating jelly and I found the rubber seal to slide much easier along all 20 feet.Also to assist with pulling the seal, I used vice grips to grab the seal and give something better to hold on to. I didn't see any ripping or tearing while using the pliers. In my case I had an extra two feet of seal if there was any damage.After the seal was installed I grabbed and slid the seal very slightly back and forth in the track to be sure there was no tight tension in one spot or looseness in others and did this along the length of the seal.The new seal is good and tight, no light showing through under the door.Pictures included.

This product is quite easy to install. Just need to be patient and follow the instructions. Pre measure the length will help but not necessary as you can trim off the end. Apply lubricant to the T tracks and use a flat scraper to push in one side and finish up with the other side by curl up the rubber and push in one inch at a time. The result is beautiful. It’s a shame that major home improvement stores do not carry this. It’s took me about 35 minutes to install.

My old gasket was falling to pieces and every time it rained, my garage flooded. The gasket had to be replaced. Package arrived in great condition and when expected. The directions for installation were prominently placed on top of the gasket. Did I follow those directions? Of course not! I removed the old gasket and cleaned the T tracks with a stiff brush. I attempted to install this myself and used Dawn Power Spray for lubricant. Now, it’s approximately 110* here currently and I was practically standing on my head for this installation. It was far too hard to do by myself so, I phoned a friend. By the time said friend arrived, all the Dawn Power Spray had dried into a sticky mess. We pushed and pulled and tried our best to keep the gasket in the tracks, failing miserably along the way. After taking a few breaks to reduce heat stroke, I finally read the directions. SOAPY WATER!!! Worked like a charm and we were able to slide that baby on like a greased pig contest! Keep in mind you may need to make adjustments to your garage door travel range following installation if your door won’t stay closed.

Great price for a great product. This seal seems durable and well made and looks great after installation. The install was difficult and time consuming, but it was worth it to allow me to replace the old, damaged, ugly, shrunk one that was in place (the rubber shrinks length ways over time). I didn't slide it in place as is directed in the instructions, as I would of had to remove the end brackets and the steel cable from the metal plate that the rubber seal mounts to. I used a soap and water mix in a spray bottle and used a very thin, flat scale/ruler with a rounded end, to wedge the flanges into place, both sides, being careful not to stab/slice the rubber flange.

These are going back to the seller, its won't fit my garage door, the item description should identify which size of garage door should be using if you buy them.
