I have several of these at this point and I absolutely love them. Very easy to use and works very well. I've tested them with a regular thermometer and temp gun and it's right on the money. Big enough to read easily but small enough to be unobtrusive

I don't like any visible equipment inside my fish tanks, and prefer a much more natural looking environment. I thought this sleek little thermometer would be perfect to hide in the corner behind some rocks to let me take covert temperature measurements.That is exactly what it turned out to be. It is ridiculously simple to set up and use. It is still running strong so I am not sure how long the battery life is on them, but mine has not had any problems. The only drawback I would say is that it can be a few degrees off (high or low). Usually not a big deal, but if you are dealing with very sensitive tank requirements, you might want something a little more accurate.

I bought this digital thermometer because all the ones I use for inside my tank would crack and I was afraid that my fish would get hurt, I understand that the water temperature can be off by one, maybe 1.5°. So I have two outside, thermometers one a stick on stick and another one this digital thermometer and they both pretty accurately say the same temperature. Once again, this, knowing that the water could be off since it’s measuring the temperature of the glass and not the actual water
