I ordered the kettle from Bolo. It was ludicrously spendy for me, but so beautiful. Nothing else on the market comes close. And given the repeated heat waves in the Northeast this summer, I wanted a kettle that could heat my water for coffee without adding heat to the house. When it finally arrived, I unpacked it, ooohed and aahhed at the beauty, added water, plugged it in and.... nothing. No LCD, no heating, simply.. nothing. Sighing heavily, I assumed it was an anomaly and sent it back. I ordered a replacement version that same day.2. Take two: a few days later, the second Stagg kettle arrives from Bolo. Unpack, plug it in.... aaaaand nothing. Double check the plug, move it to different outlets, reset said outlets - finally, for reasons unbeknownst to me, the LCD lights up with "Fellows." But nothing further. (I've now hit the "on" button about a zillion times). So, in frustration I tweet, Facebook IM and send a message the Fellows Support folks on their website.The Fellows customer service rep got back to me within the hour, ***from his vacation*** to help me out. Said that definitely shouldn't be happening and said, "Please let me send you one directly from our warehouse." Asked for the Bolo order numbers, as he thought perhaps there is something in Bolo's handling that is affecting performance of the kettle.In the meantime, I've gotten Kettle #2 to actually heat water to the boiling point once (on the 100th try or so), so I message the CSR back and say "Maybe it's working?" Next attempt? The LCD said "no water" and refused to do anything. Back it goes. I returned to the CSR and requested a kettle direct from Fellows: I was happy to pay for a replacement kettle, but he insisted on sending it free of charge to compensate for my hassle.3. EUREKA! The third-time's-a-charm kettle arrived about 3 weeks ago. It has worked like a charm ever since the first minute. Heats like a dream, quickly, efficiently. Holds the temperature accurately to about 1 degree. Pours easily, smoothly and effortlessly. My husband (who initially scoffed at the price) is increasingly enamored of this kettle, and says frequently (sheepishly) how much he loves it. It is everything all of the 5-star reviews say and more.So, finally although I've had very good luck with Bolo over the years, my advice to you on this one is: go directly to the source. You won't regret it. And a very huge shoutout to Fellows support for A++ customer service!

I’ve always been a stovetop kettle user, like most of us in the US, but a friend gave me a much cheaper electric kettle she got as a gift and didn’t want, and I was amazed at how much I loved it, but it had too much plastic that the billing water was exposed to, didn’t have the gooseneck I love, and it wasn’t exactly pretty to look at, so I started shopping around for a better one. I thought about this Fellow kettle for a very long time, did my research…watched a lot of videos, read tons of reviews, compared it with all the other kettles out there. I asked questions to the people who already had one. Finally made up my mind, then spent weeks struggling with the choice between pink and black, pink was around $30 more…eventually ordered pink, then worried I should have ordered black….Glad I got the pink. It’s not as bright as it looks in the photos, it’s a very soft and neutral pink, and goes well with my kitchen. It was extremely well packaged, nestled safely in the Fellow box it came in, plus two outer boxes. The kettle is very elegant, has a nice weight, it and looks and feels high quality. Simple to use, and very nice to look at. I would have preferred if the pink did NOT come with a wood handle, don’t really want to be bothered with the monthly buffing of mineral oil into the wood, but I suppose it’s not that big of a deal. I plugged it in, followed instructions for cleaning, and then made myself a big cup of green tea, for the first time ever at the appropriate water temperature….it was awesome, smooth and delicious, without the bitterness it often has when I just use boiling water from the stovetop. I’ve used it 5 times now, and have had none of the negatives I’ve seen mentioned in the reviews - it pours beautifully, and you have control over how much or how fast, and water or steam doesn’t bubble from the top like some reviews mention…though I haven’t filled it to the max line and probably never will. I hope it holds up well in the long term, in both looks and function. I plan on taking good care of it, treating it like the expensive piece of equipment it is.I’ll use it daily, for both tea and pour over coffee. At first I thought I would not have paid full price, I was able to use close to 100 of my points here on Bolo and that made it much more reasonable - but now that I have it and love it so much, I don’t know..maybe I would pay the full price! It really is a pleasure to use. If you can afford it, I definitely recommend this beautiful kettle!

I was never so happy with a purchase before like with this kettle. My family drinks coffee and tea a lot and this kettle helps us to make delicious beverage in no time. Silence, elegant design, very fast boiling, you can set up your desired temperature (for example 190 for the green tea), it keeps this temperature for as long as you want. For more than 3 month there is no rust inside of a kettle, high quality. I personally love it coz I can easily make one cup of tea or two cups of coffee without boiling huge kettle of water. It’s exactly right amount of water that we need for our family. I highly recommend this kettle and I am very much happy with my purchase like never before

I have been a huge fan of Fellow products and their excellent customer service that I will always look at their products first. This one didn't disappoint either. It is fast and above all extremely quiet! The temperature adjustment know and the "keep warm" function work great! I love it!
Nice gooseneck, looks great
Most people looking at kettles would know about the Fellow Stagg EKG already, as it's been very popular for tea and coffee, especially pourovers. We got one of these for making tea, and there's been nothing wrong with it. Setting the temperature is easy, then you just fill it and turn it on like... a kettle. If I had a chance I'd get a Corvo instead of the Stagg since I don't do pourovers often, and use it more for cup noodles haha. I also wish the original had the pre-boil setting that the new one does, would've been convenient for pre-boiling water before having it drop to the right temperature for tea or baby formula for example.

Most people looking at kettles would know about the Fellow Stagg EKG already, as it's been very popular for tea and coffee, especially pourovers. We got one of these for making tea, and there's been nothing wrong with it. Setting the temperature is easy, then you just fill it and turn it on like... a kettle.
