While Titanic Rising was an observation of doom to come, And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow is about being in the thick of it: a search for an escape hatch to liberate us from algorithms and ideological chaos. "We're in a fully functional shit show," Mering says. "My heart is a glow stick that's been cracked, lighting up my chest in an explosion of earnestness."

She writes all her music, she plays instruments, she produces, she sings it all, and sounds so spot-on and perfect. Her voice is magical and will remind you of other female singers, like Karen Carpenter and early Linda Ronstadt, because it's sounds so effortless and pure. Her song writing skills and lyrics are excellent. Natalie is a force to be reckoned with, in a business of auto-tuned and untalented, overrated moaners. She is the one to watch and to listen to, because she can SING. She is only getting better. Natalie is the real deal, folks.

There was a lovely posted inside and some funny isms throughout the packaging. The vinyl is dreamy and classy just like Weyes Blood

First this is an amazing album - I listen to it daily. Bummed on the vinyl quality however. Have ordered 3 copies, all have been really warped and the most recent replacement came warped and with a large scratch and defect on the record (see photo). Really bummed. At this point I would settle for a "slightly" warped record that I could take to my local record store to have flattened for an additional $10 fee. Unfortunate that is the case with this pressing. This amazing music deserves a better presentation for fans.

Wide-screen, sophisticated arrangements, beautifully sung and performed. My first encounter (and not my last, more albums on the way) and don't know how I wasn't aware of her before. Inevitably, on discovering a new artist one tends to try to categorise who they sound like - I get the Karen Carpenter comparisons, but to me, the closest description I can apply is that this album sounds like Rumer meets The High Llamas - and what a wonderful meeting it is. Just buy it, you won't regret it. Gorgeous!

Ha sido un descubrimiento para mi. No la conocía y ahora estoy casi obsesionado con su música. Resulta difícil definir su estilo. Desde una perspectiva contemporánea mezcla clásicos de los 60 con electrónica y los desarrolla de forma muy original. No encontrarás el clásico hit con introducción estribillo y repetición. Cada tema es un mundo. Totalmente recomendable
