This is such a great yarn! Honestly pretty cheap, and it’s easy to work with. However, it does split quite a lot. It’s not too much of an issue for me, but it might get a little annoying. The thickness is perfect for me, although a bit thinner than most 4 weight yarns.

I have a flat knitting machine and having it on a cone is very helpful. I like the colors it offers and they fact that it is from recycled yarn. It is softer than most cotton yarn. It holds together well with out very much splitting on my knitting machine. My machine likes this yarn. It doesn't tangle at all because of the cone. Its the perfect thickness for sweaters, scarves, dish cloths, and more. It also works great for crocheting.

The color and texture are nice and the fact this is made from recycled materials is great. The only way to increase recycling of clothing is to make something that people will actually buy from it. Feels like cotton, works up like cotton but the polyester will help with stretch and longevity.

Nice color and good price, However, yarn splits very easily and one must pay very close attention when crocheting. I do like that it is 100% cotton. Great for market bags, dish cloths and soap sacks.

if you’re making a lot of dish cloths or towels.I knitted a dozen dish towels in various colors with this yarn and found only 1 cone out of 6 where the yarn had been joined and that was only one incident.It’s a tiny bit stiff to knit, but the finished product once it’s washed and dried is soft and absorbent.I will only buy cotton yarn in cones from now on. Wanted to love this recycled, affordable, cotton yarn. But the texture is coarse and the fibers are super split. It just looks like string, I like the kind of string butcher ties packages in. I’ve been working and working with it and I can’t get it to knit up into anything.Three stars instead of two because it would work for a project that is really rustic. Like making crafts at summer camp or … I don’t know. So if you want to do something really rustic and you want bulk cheap cotton string, then this is a good find.

I absolutely love this yarn!! Yes it's splitty but the right crochet hook will take care of that and make it a non-issue. (Clover Armour I'm looking at you :) ) So for context, I have texture issues...most yarns I can't stand the feel of...especially scratching over my finger for hours on end, ugh, I'm literally cringing just writing that statement ( iykyk) But I found a knitted blanket in a big box brand store that I fell absolutely in love with. The stitch definition was perfect, it was beautiful and it felt amazing! All I could think was, " i wish I knew what yarn they used", after a lot of research, I found it...THIS...THIS IS THE YARN! Imagine my surprise, so I got a few colors and my goodness...it's now my favorite yarn of all time... and it's such a great value! You get so many yards for a great price! I'm really hoping they don't make it go up, I'm gonna be buying them out lol pictured is the pocket shawl I'm working on with this yarn. (It's laying on that blanket i was talking about :-) )

This is cotton, which is a little more difficult to work with than wool, but obviuously much lighter. I've made dish cloths but friend made a sweater from this cotton, and it's gorgeous.

I didn’t know what to expect with this recycled yarn but decided to try it out. I’m happy I did though because it knits up nicely with no splitting at all. I’ve already ordered more in a different colour. The only downside is how long it takes to ship.
