These Mr. Pen blocking mats are exactly what I needed for my crochet projects. Love these, they work great for blocking my crochet projects. They are good quality and come with a lot of pins. The foam pieces are easy to put together and are a good thickness, they are also easy to store.

The boards are great, I love the grid on them. They worked well for a sweater I was blocking. I was nervous because I hadn’t blocked anything before. So I soaked my project, rolled it into a towel and stepped on it to get out all the excess water I could, and laid it out on the mat. To my surprise it was super easy material to work with and the grid helped me keep everything square. I left it overnight and checked it again the following afternoon and to my horror there was rust all around the pins and all over my sweater that I spent over 30hrs making…. I will have to buy rust proof pins which is an additional purchase I didnt plan on making. Luckily the rust came out of my sweater with a little tlc 🥲 If you buy this, don’t make my mistake and add rust proof pins to your cart.

These are just what I needed. I bought four packs in order to block a large sweater and a tank top, both knitted pieces. For those saying the grid doesn't line up for every block, you need to rotate the blocks sometimes for the grid to line up perfectly if you are using the grid. For example, the block are numbered, so if block 3 doesn't line up, just rotate it until it does. This has worked perfectly for me every time. Each pack comes with a bag of pins but I already had large blocking pins that I used, which I love.

I ordered these without really knowing what I was doing and I am so glad I did. I made crochet granny blocks and needed to put them together but they would never align quite right. Now they do. These were so easy to use and stayed securely pinned overnight to give a uniform shape to the blocks. When I was finished, I stack them up and store them under my container of yarn.

I received it overnight. It should do just fine for my crochet and whatnot. Easy to use. Great product. Easy price. Not disappointed. I will order more of these from Mr.Pen when I decide to expand a bit on future projects. Worth choosing them over the others. On a side note, doesn't come smelling of plastics like some things can from wherever.

Nice dense material. Grid lines match up perfectly as each mat is numbered so no guessing. All the tabs fit just fine. I'm not on a flat surface here so not the best representation of how it fits but trust me it does. I couldn't be happier even got pins and a cute mustache sticker bonus.

Really happy with these blocking mats! Does the job, comes with lots of pins and is a nice sturdy mat. I've blocked a few of my crochet tapestries on them with no issues. Would recommend
