These things are great. They get super white markings on a diode laser. I'm getting really good results at 200mm/s and 80% on a 20 watt laser. Could probably go faster, but haven't tested beyond that.I did have one or two that engraved slightly less white, but on the whole they have been very consistent. Unlike some others these have edges that aren't sharp. They were clearly deburred and then anodized.A good product.

Initially I purchased the variety pack with about ten different colors to personalize luggage & equipment for our fire dept.Giving each firefighter a choice of colors, most chose red. So I ran out before I even got started.There was one guy who jumped on the pink ones just to be funny but they actually look great!I use a manual Pantagraph diamond drag tip engraver and they turn out extremely well.The professional look is quick, easy and permanent.
Did not meet expectations

Using a diamond tipped drag bit in my CNC you can see this new batch does not engrave cleanly. They must have changed the anodizing or aluminum alloy used for these. I also bought some black ones which have the same chipped and spalled blurry looking text compared to the previous batch I bought the year before. I do not recommend these if you are using an engraving bit. Thankfully I have a 5w laser which is able to engrave these cleanly.
