Im an amsoil guy, have been for a while. But, I bought a used Volvo xc90 with 140k miles and it leaks a little oil. So I didnt want to waste the cost of amsoil on a leaking engine. However, I wanted a quality oil, so I tried this. I have nearly 5000 miles on this oil and it is just starting to lose that brown hue. About time to reorder and change again. Engine seems to be running top notch and I actually improved mpg by 1.1. Hope this helps.

Bought this oil for my 08 Toyota Prius and since switching it has begun to use less oil in between 600 mile intervals. I will continue with the oil for the next few oil changes and see if this will be the oil I remain with, since it's hard to aquire amsoil in my area for a reasonable price.

(ONE YEAR UPDATE) to the comment below, 7k miles later:“Very smooth engine ran and sounded good but I see now that they’re offering 4 quarts per jug? They sold me 5 quarts a year ago for even less than that $40 they’re asking for. Good engine oil but not worth the price and value it’s listed for I would go with penzoil ultra platinum excellent value, performance and price.”Just put that new OIL from k&n in my 2017 Subaru Forester. Since there are no reviews on the oil and all the reviews are about the filter I will keep everyone updated on how it performs, engine sound, longevity, and gas mileage change. I’ll drive the exact same way I always do and I’ll keep it fair.
