Nice shaver for the money. Shaves close and comfortably. You feel the blade a little more with this shaver compared to other DE's but it's not overly aggressive. A clone of the pricier Merkur Futur with a little less weight and heft and a slightly slimmer handle. Finish is quite nice for a twenty dollar tool. I can't expect this to last a lifetime but even if I got five or even ten years out of it I'm happy.

I only used it once so far so this will be first impression. This is my first adj razor. It is larger than my old fixed Van Der Hagen razor. I started at setting 2.5 with a heavy lather. I feel it was close to the setting of my old fixed blade. I then lightly lathered and moved the setting to 5.5 and was able to get an extremely close shave. Better than my old razor overall except around my nose and lips where the razor feels vague. Maybe my second try I will get a feel for the tight spots.

This is a great razor. I have been using this razor since 3/9/2024 and love it except for one little con. The razor performs great, and is easy to clean and maintain. The only issue I have is the marker for the setting is just a small indention in the metal. The indention is very faint and can hardly be seen. This makes setting the razor very difficult for those of us without perfect vision. Would be nice to have had the indention marked using the same process as the numbers as they are easy to see. I have added 2 pictures showing the very very light indention. In the pictures it can be "seen" just above the number 2 setting. This is a knock off of the Merkur Futur razor costing $60 less than the Futur. The only thing I can see that you gain by spending the extra $60 is a nice crisp deep indention to mark the setting adjustment, and the Futur may be slightly more balanced in the hand (slightly). But at the end of the day I put my glasses on to make the setting adjustment and keep on going. I would and have suggested this razor to others.

Looks great and out of 2001 a Space Odyssey. That said this razor is garbage. It is dangerous to remove the blade. Best use a towel to remove the top. The top doesn’t fit evenly causing nicks. It’s not my technique. I’ve been DE shaving for ten years.

I absolutely love this razor. The adjustment makes it so I can shave my cheeks on a 2 and my neck on a 4. I have zero razor burn and the acne I had before on my neck is gone. Coupled with a great shave balm this makes for a fantastic combo. I actually look forward to shaving

This is well made and works well. Be sure to start at level one and work up to higher levels gradually. Otherwise, you will cut yourself. It’s very solid and well made, although very slippery to adjust or replace blades when you have wet hands. Be careful! But overall it give me a wonderfully close shave and after using it a while, I can handle it easily, without cutting myself.
