Coffee is amazing. It’s no mere beverage. And we believe this just as passionately today as we did when we first brought our gourmet coffee to market over 100 years ago. Throughout the years, we’ve explored new varieties, changed our look, rolled out ground coffee and single-serving Keurig K-Cup® pod packs…but there are some things we’ll never change. For starters, the classic flavors inside our new bags remain untouched. All our whole bean and ground varieties continue to be crafted using only high quality, 100% Arabica coffee. All our roasting is done at our own facility in Maryland, USA, under the expert supervision of master roasters. We take coffee personally. We care about our craft. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

At this point in our lives we’re could no longer drink the same old Folgers every day. I started to look for something more. I did not have a lot of time to try out many different options, so I turned to the internet and reviews.I did 1 simple google search: What is the best coffee that is commonly available in grocery stores? I wasn’t needing anything fancy, just a good solid daily coffee that would not add to my burden by having to track it down. That google search yielded several articles that all put Eight O’Clock 100% Colombian Peaks at or near the top of the list. I purchased a bag of this and a bag of community coffee that night.I remember drinking this with my wife the first time we brewed it and saying now that is good coffee. It has been 7 years, 3 more children, 3 job changes and 2 relocations since then. This is the staple of coffee in my household, and we drink a lot of coffee.Every time someone comes over to my house and I hand them a cup of coffee, they take a sip, their eyes go wide, and they ask what is that? I say what, they say the coffee, this is amazing. I always proudly say Eight O’clock. There is not a smoother, richer, or more delicious coffee commonly available at this price. It is so nice to have something in my life that I am completely and totally happy with that does not nag in the back of my head that I need to replace or upgrade.I sit here, purchasing more in bulk on Bolo, sipping a cup of Eight O’clock 100% Colombian peaks that I just ground fresh, and I am happy.
5.0 out of 5 stars BEST COFFEE - ONLY COFFEE THAT WORKS ON MY ESPRESSO MACHINE
Where do I begin. The price of it is absolutely phenomenal at five dollars a pound you can’t beat that deal. When I get coffee at five dollars a pound it’s usually oily crappy dark roast coffee that isn’t good. This coffee is a medium roast or dark roast. It’s a six out of 10 on the roast scale. When you look at the coffee it’s really clean with no young beans Earl beans all the beans are standardized. When you have different colored beans this means the coffee is cheap. This isn’t cheap coffee. Being from the state of New Jersey I’m proud to say this was roasted in my home state and they do a damn good job. This coffee is found in many bagel shops around New Jersey and New York. And Where do I begin. The price of it is absolutely phenomenal at five dollars a pound you can’t beat that deal. This coffee is found in many bagel shops around New Jersey and New York. And I am proud to drink it. I have tried at least 20 coffees on my SAECO Xsmall espresso machine. This machine is supersensitive and if the beans are too oily or dunk rain well even after adjusting the grind. The machine clogs up and then you have to take the whole machine apart. It’s one of the best espresso machines I’ve owned but it’s very selective on the kind of beans you want to use. I’ve tried 20 different brands going from coffee at $40 a pound to my local Winco store that sells five dollar pound of coffee bags which are oily and cheap. Out of all 20 coffees. Only two worked. PYK coffee and EIGNT O’CLOCK. Everything else clogs up the machine either it’s too oily or artificial flavors are added or the coffee is just cheap coffee and sold at a high price. I even used very overpriced $40 a pound Starbucks coffee from Rwanda and it clogged up the entire machine and the espresso tasted like garbage. I even tried a Starbucks blonde roast which is supposed to be a little dryer and it still clogged up the machine. Any Starbucks coffees that I used with clog up the machine and break it and I’ll have to replace parts. But this coffee 8 o’clock. Does the job. It doesn’t clog up the machine. It cooks really well. When the coffee PUCKS come out. They all together and they are in one piece where I can lift them up and feel them. Because of this you can tell the coffee is good. When are you Starbucks coffee or any other brand of the 18 brands I’ve tried The coffee would either break apart in the internal machines mechanism or it would break apart when dumped in the drop drawer. Which tells me the coffee is oily and low quality and it was roasted too high of a temperature and not slow roasted. Which this means the coffee was roasted at a high temperature and all the oil’s were pulled out when roasted meaning you don’t get a lot of caffeine and you get a crappy burnt cup of coffee like Starbucks. Even though this coffee is cheap don’t judge the price. The price is well priced for what you’re getting good quality cup of Joe nothing too crazy. And the people that say taste like mud those are the people that want to drink hazelnut latte is filled with a bunch of sugar and garbage artificial flavors. To describe it it’s a good cup of New Jersey coffee that you would have the bagel and cream cheese and it works amazing my espresso machine I’ve been on the hunt for a good coffee for the last three years and this is the one that really makes the deal. My espresso machine has pull 200 shots of this coffee and not once has a clogged up and not once have I had to replace a single part because of this espresso machines ability to use this great coffee.
5.0 out of 5 stars I like this coffee
I like the roast of this coffee. It doesn't upset my stomach at all. It is smooth and taste good. I like the aroma smell of the beans. If you buy 2 of them, one is vacuumed sealed and the other is not.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Not Great. Worth a Try
It has a nice flavor, I drink it black, so not sure if anything adding creamer would do to the taste. It is a little acidic for me, but not terrible. For the price, if you like a good dinner type coffee this is just as good. If your looking for a premium barista style coffee, this is not going to work well. Great for drip coffee makers at home, and for the price per OZ it is worth giving it a try.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I decided to try this to see how it compared to the Starbucks coffee I liked. I can't even tell any difference (I DO put cream and sweetener in my coffee)! If you don't drink black coffee, I'm not sure the differences are that noticeable. Just IMO.

I think this brand is very economical and taste is good as well. Someone recommended it to me and I can recommend it as well it's not very strong somewhere in the middle.

Love this coffee
This coffee is becoming harder and harder to find, especially at a reasonable cost. Hopefully we will be able to find it again.
Un gran café.
Es un producto que me encanta su sabor, excelente café.
Very satisfying coffee...
A full flavoured coffee if you let it steep for 1-2 minutes-the flavour is pleasing with its dark colour and richness. I use an Aero Press and am pleased with this brew.
Esta rico, pero lo siento caro
Es uno de los que más me ha gustado pero lo sentí un poco caro para el café de diario, si lo volvería a comprar sin duda para ocasiones especiales
