The handle staus UP and is never too hot. The spout is in a perfect spot for pouring, not too low on the pot. We love the copper, and frankly this is the only kind we were interested in buying. It's not lined, so you get the benefits of copper. :) The little ball on the lid vibrates to alert you it's steaming, but no whistle. If full, it fills a french press perfectly!

An excellent tea pot for two which holds enough water for two mugs. This tea pot does not whistle which made no difference to me. I found this tea pot to heat the water very quickly, and I absolutely love the beauty of it sitting on my stovetop when not in use. I have purchased this particular tea pot in a second order for the purpose of giving a lovely gift to a good friend.

We have a literally purchased thousands of items off of Bolo and I have left 99.9% positive reviews. But this is the first time I feel like I’ve been scammed. The teapot is nice, but when you look at the ad it looks like it is a 9 inch base on that teapot. That thing is only half the size of a normal teapot. I cannot even use it on my gas range, because all of the burners are bigger than the teapot. The teapot looks nice, but I feel like I have been ripped off because it’s only half the size of what it should be. You would be lucky to get 2 cups of coffee out of that thing. As a matter fact, I will probably send it back. That’s how disappointed I am in this item.

Thank you for making a tinless copper teapot. Copper always changes to a darker color from usage with water, over time but that’s how you know it’s real.

I purchased this item to use as my primary tea kettle. However, when I opened the box and saw how beautiful it was, I could not put a flame to such a beautiful item. My next kettle will not be as beautiful!!!

Type 3I had to wait a few weeks for it, but it was well worth it. The handle was a little stiff, but I gently moved it back-and-forth until it would go down. It seems very well-made and it heats up water in a decent amount of time. I have a heat plate under so I never have it on direct fire. It’s a little bit on the smaller side but I don’t have a problem with it. Can easily make two mug size of tea.

Dented spout upon opening. But it’s going on a woodstove so not a deal breaker. A little smaller than anticipated but it is beautiful. Feels well built.

It's unlined which means you get the health benefits of copper.Only thing is, I ordered one for me, and one as a gift. I got mine, but the people the gift was for got a totally different item. Bolo does not offer a replacement option. So I have to return, get a refund, and order again - very frustrating!
