These legos are great. Easy to follow instructions, and good quality.

Even though it’s supposed to be based off of the Halo TV series it’s still a good set and it has very good features

We are a Lego household. I cannot tell you how many sets we have built over the years. I was apprehensive on Mega just because it seemed like a cheap "knock off" but my son is really into Halo which is not available with Lego.This was a FUN build!! The instructions are so much better than Lego and the assortment of pieces lends to a great challenge. I really like how the details are printed on the pieces and not stickers that always go on crooked.

I should not judge the Mega Blocks kit from the tv show. All of the main characters of the Marines are in the kit. The jeep is full of details and John 117 face is there for all to see. oops.really it's a decent kit for any fans of HALO.

Literally the only good thing to come out of the show is this set, as a Lego fan, Mega knocks it out of the park again, the bricks feel high quality and the mini figures have amazing detail put into them, you get Silver Team and Cortana included and the set isn’t too big so it’s perfect for display and play, also worth noting is Master Chief comes included with a second Pablo Shcreiber head and his Mark 6 Mjolnir helmet for preference.

I want to start by saying I really hate the Halo show. I think it's poorly written, a cruddy representation of Halo and the characters are bland.That being said, this set is really awesome. I want to get the Cons aside first: the EOD (Spartan Vannak) and Chief both have things on the box are that the real set does not have. Vannak's shoulders are wrong for all sets, and Chief does not have the gray print on the front of his helmet that the box shows.The rest of the set is great though. All the figs are well made, with pretty sharp printing. Some of these newer sets have issues with print rubbing but this one doesn't appear to have that issue, or at least, it hasn't shown up yet. The Warthog is possibly Mega's best one ever, which is really saying something since Mega has made a LOT of 'Hogs over the years.For $40, 5 figures, a warthog and a bit of terrain feels pretty good, especially with the level of detailing everything has. So whether you're a fan of the show or you hate it like me, this set is worth getting.Oh yeah, and Master Cheeks/Jimmy Rings' head is really accurate, if that's something you want.
