I was able to replace the tubing and regulator easily. The grill has function much better.

The media could not be loaded. I was installing a new propane wall heater in place of what was there for probably 30 years and I replaced the regulator with this one and I couldn't for the LIFE of me get my heater to light.After ripping things apart I discovered that the SPRING no matter HOW LOOSE would still be pushing the valve regulator WIDE OPEN, until I REMOVED the spring, the regulator would close SHUT stopping gas flow...So I got to thinking and I decided to cut the spring to about 60%? And then used my mouth, and slowly tightened the spring down WHILE BLOWING AIR just to the point where it would STILL CLOSE IF i blew REALLT hard, but would stay open if I only blew about 80% persay.Wall heater has been working PERFECTLY since.So if you CANNOT GET YOUR PILOT LIGHT LIT after installing this regulator, take out the MAIN spring, there's a silver insert that's threaded to the wall. Remove that, you can do it while the line is hooked up, and then just put that CENTER skinny spring in and see if it releases just a LITTLE gas, you might be like me and going full blast until you remove it...But ir doesn't leak, and has been working great since the modification.Good luck, and hope it helps someone
