It's very strong and the flexible part is what I was after. Needs to be strong enough too pick up small parts dropped into a motor housing. I've tried everything with no luck. THis will be perfect.THere's a straight piece has a very stong magnet and a pocket sized pickup tool too.

I only needed the smaller one for picking up small screws in my PC case. However, the bundle was priced well enough where I could find a use for the other two. The larger pickup tool is quite nice and can pick up larger, automotive bolts/screws which is super useful. Haven't really found a use yet for the flexible one but I'm sure it'll come up in the future. Nice price for a decent set of pickup tools.

The flex piece was extremely helpful for getting under and around as I could mold it to the correct shape. It has just enough magnet to hold on to a medium size screw or smaller bolt. With the smaller head, I used it to get a smaller bolt from under a high pressure fuel pump where I needed the multiple bends, saved me hours and not having to remove pump to get it.The telescoping magnet will hold on to a larger bolt. I'd like the stronger magnet on the flex shaft. These should be in every mechanics tool box.

Even the smallest in the set which is about the size of a think pencil before it is extended has such a great magnet on it. I couldn't be happier with all of them. I wasn't expecting great things given how cheap they were but they really have got some magnetic grip!

Easy to use

Bendy magnet wand for fishing in car engine bay

Like many DIY enthusiasts I was servicing my car and accidentally dropped a metal flange hex nut into the engine bay. I spent a whole afternoon trying all manner of house hold instruments, attempting to fish the hex nut out of the engine bay with zero success. I bought this bendy magnet wand and it took about five minutes to fish the flange hex nut out. Had to bend it nearly 90 degrees to get it into a crevice underneath the 9v car battery housing. The bendy magnet wand really works! The real question is what do you do with it afterwards? I might poke my cat with it.
