I've been buying the gel kayano for about 10 years. This review is for people buying the shoe in a 4E extra wide width. Starting with the 29's, they made the toe box width area smaller than the previous versions. The 28's fit perfect. The 29 my pinkie toe is too tight. I have always worn an 8.5, so I bought these 30's in a size 9 to see if that would help. Still having the same issue in the toe box. Too crowded. Very good running shoe overall. If you don't have extra wide feet you will be happy.
