The brand was recommended to me by my ophthalmologist at EYE GUYS in Augusta. The recommendation was backed by one of his techs who uses it herself. The eye drops themselves are cool and soothing for my dry eyes. The best part about these is the delivery system. You hold the bottle securely above your eye and push the of the bottle and when you hear the click you get ONE controlled drop of the solution. No more wasted drops even when my husband puts them in for me.Although the doctor's office doesn't carry this type of bottle (they do carry Optase) Bolo delivers once again. The tech tried them and said she wants to ask the doctor to carry these bottles as well as the others.I think it is well worth the money I spent and would recommend this product to anyone who uses eye drops on a regular basis.

Purchased on the recommendation of my optometrist. I was skeptical since I haven’t had good luck with eye drops really providing lubrication. I was impressed how long lasting these are. The one click-one drop design is nice but sometimes it’s two clicks-one drop lol. It also took a few tries to figure out the best way to hold the bottle but I’ve worked it out. Will def repurchase in the future.

I began using the Optase Hylo on April 20, 2025 and have used it multiple times a day since. I was suffering from dry eye causing severe itching, watering, and discomfort. On April 10, '25 I had begun taking a daily Blink pill designed to assist one's normal tear production. I don't know which has made the greatest difference but within the last 10 or 12 days my symptoms have abated significantly. I was seeing my ophthalmologist frequestly for months and being given many different drops to try, but nothing helped until this product and the Blink were both being used. Using this innovative bottle was a challenge and I do thinkk the bottle could be improved. The cone shaped cap is so slippery that I had to cut a rubber jar lid remover in half and use it to get a grip on the cap. It needs much more prominent ridges or one or two flat sides. It would also help when holding the bottle in the recommended position if the places where one's fingers must be placed were given more room. Perhaps one side of the upper platform could be wider and/or indented or enlarged by moving the dispenser to one side inside of in the middle. I would also ask Optase to put a window strip down the bottle so one could see how much fluid remains. This way it's guess work as to when to buy another bottle and I don't want to run out or order too far in advance such that an extra bottle surpasses its "use by" date before even being opened. That said, I do strongly recommend it even though its price is high. My symptoms had been driving me crazy, I was almost clawing at them, damaging my skin, and causing inflammation due to the itching, but am so much better I am finally having some peace. To me they are well worth the price, but it's too bad that I, and many others I feel sure, have difficulty aligning the bottle so as to avoid wasting the drops by missing our target.

I love the eye drops! However, that Lpatented application system” is a waste of resources. Why would you want to put a moving tool that close to your eyeball? Sometimes the drops dispense but don’t actually fall from the tip, so you have to dispense again… suddenly you have 2-3 drops in one eye.The good news about the drops is that they are so good its like putting your head on a soft pillow at night. They feel amazing. So much relief!But that stupid dispenser ticks me off every time I use it. One star off for the dispenser.Hey Optase…. Don’t fancy it up. Go back to basic squeeze applicators. It would be cheaper to manufacture and your clients wouldn't have to struggle.
