I recommend it. I’ve been using it several times daily for a couple weeks. It isn’t complete immediate relief, but close enough to enable me to go outside more in the summer (when I don’t feel like committing to bug spray) and to keep me sane when I’m clocking 10+ bites a day lmao.The burn is always tolerable. Some skin is more sensitive (eg. back of hand hurts more than thigh). It’s interesting, there’s an immediate, great sensation of relief. Then in a few seconds the itching comes back at—maybe—50% intensity, and then wanes over the next several minutes. Except for the most sensitive places (e.g. back of hand), I actually like the slight burn because it’s like, “f?€& you, mosquito!”Works as well, probably better, than anti-itch topical cream. So far, haven’t accidentally itched any bites causing them to persist, like sometimes happens with cream.

Love this product so much I have two! I have dyshidrotic eczema and this is the only thing that keeps me from tearing my skin apart when I get a flare up. Works on mosquito bites too but I find that I have to use the product on bug bites over the course of a couple days to completely remove the itch but that just might be because my skin reacts more to bug bites. Love that it has two heat levels and holds a charge for a long time. It’s the size of a pen so it’s easily portable and durable as well for the price.

Do not use one too many times on one spot. Only apply once, or can cause burn blisters (see 1st photos). It does relieve the itching by burning your skin mildly. It does not hurt, but does have the indescribable but irresistible sensation when you scratch that itch that keeps you wanting to scratch some more. Same with this device, I just wanted to apply the heat again and again chasing that sensation. Don’t do it. Just use it once.I did notice with one application, i end up with a dark spot. I can’t tell if that is from the bite or the device burning my skin (see 2nd picture).With flea bites, this device is worth it because it does stop the itch by burning it.I still give it a 4 stars because it really stops the itch.

I really like this zapper. It’s super simple and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. There are two heat settings: one-line and two-line. The one-line is hotter and stings a bit, but not too bad. The two-line is what I usually go with because it’s warm without lasting as long or feeling as intense. The one-line definitely zaps the itch a bit harder, but I don’t mind using the two-line most of the time.I’ve had it for almost two years (20 months) and still haven’t had to charge it since I first got it. Every time I get a bite, I zap it right away and never even feel itchy after. Super handy and so worth it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It works! I bought this in a rush just hoping it would help with the mosquitoes here in south Texas. My daughter has an allergy and was bitten multiple times on her back. I had just purchased this and we decided to try it. I made sure to keep it moving since she did say it got warm when I stopped but it works amazing! The photos are 30 minutes apart and all I did was use this device!

I can get a lot of mosquitos at my lake cabin. My guests are not always big fans of the resulting bites. I keep one of these there and charged up to relieve the whiners of their itches. So far it seems to work 100% of the time. Quite impressed.

Outstanding little gizmo. After a trip to South Carolina where I got dozens of no-see-um bites, this worked so well. Low setting typically does the trick. Certainly feel the high setting more, but I did not find it to be too much. Amazingly effective

On your first try use the lower setting. Once you know how hot it is, you can use the higher setting. I'm allergic to the bites and probably itch more than most people, but this brought relief right away.

It sounded like snake oil. After Bite never worked for me, and I suffer from skeeter syndrome so I'm definitely on the lookout for something that would lessen the swelling.Tried this, as the bugs are bad as heck.Got hit, and started to swell within a minute. Grabbed this, applied it on low twice, then 3 times on high. There is some pain as the heat can be pretty intense.The bite did swell up but it was slow in comparison to not using this. Within 2 hours, the swelling had gone down immensely.For reference, each bite I get normally swells to the size of a toonie within an hour and can get much bigger and taller by the next day. The first bites I had this year without this treatment, blistered and were very bad. I'm also not one that scratches any bites.I've used this about 7 times since, and each one has had the same result. The key (for me anyway) is to treat it as soon as possible.
Kills that irresistible itch
It definitely works and takes the itch out of a sting within a minute, you may need to do it twice for very itchy bites however it works a treat

GAME CHANGER LIFE SAVER!!I always have at least one mosquito bite that lands me in the hospital because I’ve scratched it and it’s become infected. I’m practically allergic to mosquito bites, and not only do they itch they swell. This product was a miracle! It takes a little getting used to – getting to know which temperatures work best for you, but once you find what works, then you will be able to survive mosquito season. I would highly suggest that you apply some alcohol to the bite, let it dry and then use this zapper as soon as you feel it. That’s what makes this truly useful

It works but I didn’t realise it literally burns the saliva out. Takes a moment to get used to but being burned for 2 seconds is way better then being itchy for hoursAlso in case anyone was wondering it doesn’t leave burns, or at least not that I’ve noticed. Also lavender deters mozzies
