We live in a very hot area, but, unlike many things in the car, this does not get hot in the car waiting to be used, making it comfortable to use. It was great that it came two in the box, so we don't have to switch it out between cars. Worth every penny.

My elderly mother in law has much difficulty getting in and out of the car, front seat easier than back, but she struggles and this device is a God send. It goes on easily, has great grip and stays in place to help her stay safe. Gives her more confidence and independence which is important to her. Easy to place and take off. Doesn’t cause any scrapes to car. Highly recommend this well designed and made aid.

I got this for my mom she had knee replacement surgery and now she’s able to get in and out of the passenger side with ease. It’s the perfect size and doesn’t weight I like the fact that it’s made from a good material that won’t damage the paint on my car. It’s definitely designed to do its job.

Perfect attachment to help mobility challenged people get in and out of a vehicle with minimal assistance. The bar can be positioned either facing the door, or pointed outward toward the door opening. Lightweight but sturdy. I keep it in my passenger side door pocket so it’s always ready when we need it

My wife is relatively small -- she says she is "concentrated" -- and suffers (silently) from sciatica. Hence, getting in and out of our two cars is problematic for her. (I am tall, and can grab the upper door jamb of the car to hoist myself out.) She seems to like these, and finds them useful. I keep one in her car, driver's side (the door pocket thing), and one in my car, passenger side (ditto). Easy to "install", and helpful.One still needs to "apply" them -- put them in the door's "hook" -- and have the strength and range of motion to use them. But as leg-muscle-assistants, they are perfectly legitimate, and comfortable to use. Worth a try for the cost, $22. 4 Stars.A personal assistant might be 5 stars. I try to help, but she's impatient.

I had no idea how handy this device has become. I don't get in or out of the car without it. Feels very sturdy and can hold my weight. Can't live without it!!

I bought a 2-pack of this handle - one for myself and one for my dad. These are great for getting in or out of smaller vehicles. The handle is as advertised - it's very sturdy for being so light weight, it doesn't cause any damage to the door latch, easy to use and I just store mine in the pocket of the door for easy access.
