I got this trainer butterfly knife to safely learn tricks without worrying about cuts, and I’m really happy with it. It’s well-balanced and has a solid feel—surprisingly sturdy for the price. The handles flip smoothly, and the weight makes it easy to practice without feeling too heavy or too light.The "blade" is blunt and safe, which is perfect for beginners (or parents of kids who are into this stuff). No sharp edges, but it still looks cool and gives a realistic feel.I’ve dropped it more times than I can count, and it’s holding up really well—no loose screws or major damage. The latch works fine, though it can get in the way during tricks sometimes (nothing a rubber band or quick mod can’t fix).Great choice if you're just getting into flipping or want a safe way to practice without risking your fingers. Fun, durable, and definitely worth it. Great for kids too!

Build quality on this is amazing! It has a great weight to it which in turn feels perfect in the hand, at least for me. Super smooth when using. Had a bit of a squeak to it, a little baby oil (no diddy) does the trick! Definitely recommend!

Bought for my son to fidget with. He loves the feel of it and how well he can switch it from one form to another. He's currently learning tricks with it.

The screws started to come undone and it fells apart, it was really easy to put back together just an annoyance, also the close mechanism stop working as well over time because of the spring. After about a week I couldn’t close the knife anymore with the metal piece. Really cool to just dip your toes in the water though. If your experienced don’t buy this.

I wanted one of these mainly just as something to occupy myself when anxious at my desk, and it's perfectly suitable for that! Feels well weighted, the texture is nice. It closes a little rough, but overall construction seems good and like it won't come loose any time soon. Can't really speak to it for any actual knife training.
