The light remains on as long as motion is detected, and shuts off approximately 30 seconds after motion stops. They recharge in under an hour using the provided USB cable connected to a user-supplied power charging source.Mounting is easy, as each light has a magnetic base that will hold firmly to most any (ferrous) metallic surface. Mounting on a non-metallic surface is accomplished by attaching the provided adhesive-backed metal strips to the desired surface, and then attaching the magnetic-backed light to the metal strip.The three-position power switch clicks from Off, to On (continuous), and to On (motion detection mode). I have not tested the battery life in the continuous-on mode, but can attest to experiencing a month or more of daily repeated on-off cycling of both lights in separate installations, all without having yet to recharge either light's battery.While these lights are not weatherproof and therefore not intended for exposed outdoor applications, they would probably provide reliable service in a sheltered installation, such as under an eave or roof overhang, helping illuminate a doorstep or patio entrance.I am so satisfied with this purchase that I will buy another pair of these inexpensive lights for other areas of my home where they will provide guiding light in those dark, frequently but briefly visited areas.

It provides bright, even lighting exactly where I need it, and the motion sensor works flawlessly—turning on instantly when I walk by and turning off automatically to save energy.Installation was a breeze with the magnetic strip and adhesive backing, so no tools or wiring were needed. The rechargeable battery is a huge plus, lasting a long time between charges. I love that it’s lightweight yet durable, making it perfect for under cabinets, closets, hallways, or any dimly lit space.If you’re looking for an affordable, efficient, and stylish lighting solution, this is it! Very cool, better than what I expected. Quality and finish is high. Much brighter than expected. I will be purchasing more of this size and some of the larger ones. I'm using these as additional lights for the interior of my van. Works great!

I am doing this review after 2 Year Ownership. I use it everyday for a couple minutes.I only charged it twice in those two years. Absolutely great battery life. 10/10.Very bright LED and motion sensor is very reliable and accurate.

Bought this for above my door frame in my shared apartment foyer so I didn’t have to leave my light on the whole time I’m not home but could still see when I needed to unlock my door. Then I bought 8 more for under my kitchen cabinets and in the hallway leading to my front door/living room. It’s the perfect tone of light and awesome brightness and they shut off on their own after so many seconds so they don’t waste energy and I can just walk around my kitchen/hall without having to turn any lights on. Also bought two extra to keep charged for backup that I can just switch out when they start to die and need recharged. That seems to be working well because I always have working lights. I didn’t have electricity at all for 17 months right before I bought these and would just recharge things at work so these would have definitely worked well for that as charging them really doesn’t take that long and they’re small and attach and reattach with a magnet so they’re super easy to swap out and charge. Definitely recommend. Now that I have electricity again I still don’t use the lighting that is permanently installed in my apartment and these light my kitchen/hallway/and foyer fine. Sometimes the motion timer will shut off and you have to move around a little again to get them all to light up again but there is an always on option also and not just auto so if you needed them to stay on consistently that’s an option.

These lights work really well and hold a charge a long time. I bought the two pack on October 2023. I only used one at the time and it finally ceased proper function around April 2025. (would not properly charge and light would stay on regardless of auto setting) So did not get quite two years out of it. I’m glad I had a second one in the pack that hopefully will last another couple of years.
