Dash pieces provided do not fit, not even close. Pieces missing? Description says reverse camera but there was no cam in the box. Also, looks like tabs were missing? on one of the dash pieces. Wasn't even able to mount the touchscreen because the fitment was so off

The quality of the screen and functionality is awesome. However, there’s a few things to know about the install. The dash/trim pieces have tabs that are supposed to line up with the existing holes. I had to carefully cut off a few of them to make it fit. Also the back side of the screen is too big to fit where the factory stereo was. I had to cut off a cross section behind the dash to make it work. For reference- I have a 2014 wrangler. If you don’t make these modifications, the stereo and trim will leave huge gaps on the dash and around the stereo. I used a multi-tool vibrating saw to carefully remove tabs that didn’t line up. Also it’s important to connect the stereo face to the storage unit on top of the dash before installing the screen. To do that, you’ll need to remove the screen from the trim, screw the trim pieces together, re-install the screen to the trim, then install the screen. The screw to hold these two pieces together doesn’t come with the kit. And there’s nothing in the instructions that mentions this process either. One that note, it’s worth mentioning that these instructions are mediocre at best. If you have decent problem solving skills, and access to the proper tools (including a vibrating buzz saw) you can make this stereo work. Otherwise, it’s probably worth the money to purchase one that’s in a higher price bracket from a reputable manufacturer.

There are other options that don’t give you a wireless Apple CarPlay solution. This one was the best priced that includes CarPlay and a back up camera. There are a few idiosyncrasies with the car radio functions and sound system, and there are no instructions as to where to hook up all the extra wires that are not needed for the OEM radio, but the functionality and interface are as good as I can expect from an add on. Highly recommend!

First off the fitment of this unit specified for the 2015 does not really fit all that well. Second the connectivity to be able to use android auto does not seem to work. Have had radio in for a few days now and still can not get android auto to work. Was able to connect it to wifi and Bluetooth no problem but will not run android auto. Honestly kind ready to put the factory unit back in and sell this.
