Everything is neatly packed in a compact and durable zippered case — nothing falls out or gets lost. It includes all the essentials: a variety of colorful threads (over 20 shades!), needles, pins, scissors, thimble, measuring tape, needle threader, spare buttons, and snaps.I was especially impressed with the quality of the threads — they don’t break easily and are smooth to work with. Everything is well-organized, and the case is small enough to take on the go. Great both as a gift and for emergency repairs at home.Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to always be prepared for small sewing fixes!

I thought it would be a lot smaller based on the case it came in, i was pleasantly surprised to see how much stuff was in the case. Lots of different thread colors and lots of different needle sizes. It even comes with a thimble so that you dont hurt your fingers and can stitch faster. Its also a very compact set so its easy for on the go!

This is a great little sewing kit for people who don't sew, keeping in the workplace, going away to college with, keeping in your car, etc. I appreciate the compact size of this sewing kit and pouch and the variety of contents inside. So far the zipper is solid and easy to use; it has not gotten caught on anything yet, and it seems sturdy. The little loop makes it possible to use a small carabiner to hook the sewing kit to a carabiner or hook inside my backpack for ease of location (if I wish). The travelability of it is such that I plan for the small kit to live in my backpack for work; I have already mended 2 things with it!The ring-thimble is a great alternative to the cap thimble, and I am liking it quite a lot.Most of the needles have very small eyes, and some are insufficiently perforated so that, with those needles, it is impossible to thread them. This is a real concern, and I wish there were a few more shorter needles with eyes that could be more easily threaded (or threaded at all).The thread colors are varied and excellent. The thread itself, however, is of *very* poor quality and it frays while sewing (just mending), and therefore tangles quite a bit.The organization of the kit is good, and everything is accessible but also carefully contained. I love that the needles are in a little plastic circle case; it allows me to find a needle without stabbing myself. A couple of the needles seem to be defective, as not even the needle- threader seemed to be able to pass through the eye. Because of these tiny needle eyes, the needle threader has been incredibly valuable (especially with my aging eyes...although a teenaged student also couldn't thread those couple of needles).

I have to say this is a good little kit im fixing holes in my son pants. Good value imo. A lot of things inside making it very versatile. Being a smaller than it is you can travel with this very easy very nice appearance everything is sorted very neatly which makes ease of repairs and the different sizes, and the way that they have the thread inside the case makes me very fast at matching the thread which makes me faster to find the colors for the stuff i need to sew.

I struggled giving it 3 stars. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is the number of color threads it came with for the price. I got this because I needed to patch my clothing in 2 days and no time to shop around.Quality of thread and needles is very poor. Needle bends at multiple positions easily from simple stitching. Thread quality is poor and broke easily. I had to double up.For emergency patching, this may do the job until permanent quality patching can be used on top.If you are looking for something that last and threads that are durable, I suggest going to a local store or a reputable online store.

Neat little travelling sewing kit

I like this little kit. It is lightweight and ideal for travelling with its varied and useful contents.I purchased it for when I travel for work and have the odd mishap, detached shirt button etc.Some of the items may not be of the highest quality (you can buy needles alone for as much as the entire kit) but the price obviously reflects this.Good value for money and 5 star based on this. I would reduce to 4 star if I were more concerned about quality but you cannot expect more for the price.
