5.0 out of 5 stars No audio and does not have motorized pan/tilt

Noticed it doesn't have audio or mechanical pan/tilt, but that's my own oversight. Excellent theft deterrent and looks very professional.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sound works great
Much better quality than previous models. Sound is very clear and quite sensitive. Very good picture. Easy to install.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not compatible with hinkvision
Will not work with hinkvision
4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good for the price
I work with several hundred surveillance cameras in my profession, and I’d never touch Hikvision or any of the other white label brands that are close copies. However, my sister-in-law can’t afford multiple $500 cameras for her house, so I took a shot on these. These are not up to par with Axis or Bosch. They are, though, great cameras *for the price*.It took me a while to get these configured since, unlike every other camera I’ve used in the last decade, these don’t support DHCP out of the box. You must download and install a configuration program to “activate” them, then you’re able to configure the network settings individually. This should be batched, but trying to configure multiple caused an error in the program and I was forced to do each individually.Anyway, after getting DHCP activated, I was able to get into the camera and see the image. Beautiful! Definitely a 4K image, and the daytime image quality is just as good as any I’ve seen. Nighttime I haven’t tested yet because these are all hooked up to a switch on my floor with about 12” cables.Take note that the max refresh on these is 20fps regardless of resolution, which means motion blur will be a confounding factor in identifying someone if they move through the scene at speed. Then again, to get 60 or 120 fps at this resolution literally costs 15-20 times more, so I think this is a fine compromise.I’ll be integrating these with a Home Assistant-hosted Frigate install, using a Coral TPU to provide object detection. This essentially requires a substream unless you want to put a top-end graphics card in your surveillance box, and I’m happy to report that these cameras can easily do a 640x480 20fps substream next to the main 4k 20fps stream.Bottom line, assuming the night vision is as good as hikvision claims, these are definitely good enough for a high-res home surveillance system. I am so impressed I might buy hikvision for my own system when the time comes.
1.0 out of 5 stars NDAA Compliant
Be careful if you need a NDAA compliant camera or system. Hikvision and Dehua are restricted for use in government buildings in he US.
