This microphone is decent for the price and gets the job done. The metal base is heavy and feels solid. There is also rgb lighting behind the microphone grill that looks cool and the mic also has a mic volume control on the back of the mic. The mic has a usb cable that plugs into your pc or laptop computer. The cable is long enough for most setups. No software required to use the mic.

I've been using this for 2 weeks now and I'm very happy with my purchase.Excellent microphone! Was very easy to set up - just had to plug in the usb and it worked out the box. Sound quality is great and it barely captures external sounds (keyboard/mouse clicks). The built in headphone jack & mute button are a great touch and come in handy very often.

Sometimes you just need a simple-to-operate, quality product and this COCONISE mic is it. Sometimes price dictates quality, however, with this mic, it's perfect for the webcasting and communication needs we have. It has a variable output level, a sufficiently long enough cable, good sound quality, and even a windscreen. The headphone jack is an added benefit for convenience. and its a great price just plug and play

The construction and material are fine for the price. Though, while I was screwing the mic into the stand, the soft plastic thread was uneven, and it took several attempts to fit correctly. I bought the mic for use in short voice notes, zoom, and talking to my AI bot. It was fine for these purposes, but it's advertised for gaming and streaming, and it failed at these tasks. Not usual for me.When using it as a standalone mic, the recording and sound were okay. I didn't have to sit too close to it, as others have described. I was about four feet away from it, which is further than normal distance for a desktop mic. Voice was clear, and it didn't pick up much background noise, or canceled it out.The biggest problem I had with it is figuring out that the RGB doesn't turn off, or at least allows you to change colors. However, that turned out to be a non-issue because the mute button, which turns the light a solid blue, does not work. Not an expected outcome to a non-working feature, but at least I didn't have to return it. I can live with the blue light and no mute. But if the mute button and RGB matter to you, you may want to pass on this one.
Great Starter Mic
Got this microphone as an improved starter setup for content creation. The base is solid. Mic exterior is plastic which is to be expected, but what you get in functionality is great for the price point. Easy plug and play setup. I love that there is a gain knob and you can plug your headset on the mic so you can hear how you sound. I also like that there’s a shock mount and pop filter which helps with reducing background noise. RGB lights are a nice touch and the quick mute is handy if you use it for meetings or gaming.
