My gums had gotten to where they'd bleed every brush, and since I can't currently afford a dental visit I had to find something else to help. Switched to a softer bristle toothbrush, this toothpaste and a gum-healthy mouthwash and I was already much improved in a week. After continued use there was no more bleeding at all! It's also got a great mint flavor without being overpowering. I definitely recommend this stuff.
