This saw has been awesome! We've been working on a project and this saw has come in so handy for those fine little precise cuts. It's very sharp and does the job quickly and easily. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were looking for a nice, flush cutting saw and Suizan kept coming up so with all the great reviews we figured we'd try this one out. It's awesome. Simply awesome. The build is simple but feels so good, the cuts come out super clean with no effort, a really great cutting experience. You always hope that the tools you buy live up to this imaginary hype you've built up in your mind but the Suizan definitely surpassed our expectations. It's a great little saw that knew the assignment and knocked it out of the park.

Good quality flexible steel double edged Japanese saw for trim, dovetailing and close quarter work. It’s very sharp with fine and coarse sides, it cuts well even in tough wood like walnut and maple and is a precise tool.I do site work on various projects and I need to carry this saw around with me in a well organized tool bag.The low point for me with this saw is the cheesy plastic guard that broke in a few weeks in my tool bag.If the manufacturer doesn’t want to supply a real blade guard with the saw, at least make one available for separate purchase.

My first Japanese style pull saw. Provides great control while cutting. Can't say I'm much of a expert on quality but this one seems to be working great for my needs.

A great tool when you need a precise cut.
Too flexible
Cuts a fine line but the blade (for me) is just too flexible. I have to keep the cutting close to the handle.
Excellent folding hand saw.
This is a fantastic folding pull saw. Teeth are sharp and without burrs. The saw cuts cleanly and without scraping. The handle is not as comfortable as I'd prefer due to the channel on the underside where the blade folds into the handle, but is good otherwise.
Truly a fantastic saw
This japanese saw is a masterpiece and cuts effortlessly into any piece of wood. So far I have tried with 18mm plywood and pinewood, and results have been impressive. Compared to a traditional western saw, this one takes very less effort to saw through the wood. Even though the blade is thin and flexible, the cuts are dead straight. Its take a bit of time and patience to get use to the pull motion, in case you are not familiar with Japanese style saw before. But once you have crossed that stage, you will not feel going back to the western saw.
Every woodworker should have one of these
This is a fantastic little flush cut saw. It’s razor sharp, has a very thin blaze and goes through wood like a knife through butter leaving a really smooth clean cut with far less tear-out than any push type saw - even on plywood.Fabulous for joinery - obviously not for pruning large trees!
Excellent saw
EXCELLENT. Never used japanese saw before. Everything as advertised and more. Clean and straight cuts every time. Takes a little getting used to the first time as the blade is very flexible, thin and very sharp. Just let the saw do what it wants to do and it cuts perfectly. Very impressed and highly recommend.
