I bought the minnows for my 10 month old kitten. I wanted these to fulfill his needs for his hunting instincts and play. I toss one over, he darts to chase it. He'll play with it and chew it, then devour the rest. Very crunchy, but he loves it! He's very energetic and playful, so this is a perfect addition for his routine. I tried to feed some to our 2 other adult cats, but they showed no interest. So keep in mind that this may not be for every kitty! But overall, great healthy treats for cats!

Just got these. For anyone wondering, they are real organs. They were way too big for my kitten, so I had to chop them up. He really loves freeze dried treats (I use them as toppers for his food). He loves his minnows and he absolutely loved this. I did have to cut them up. I did it with my hands, though, and they are a bit wet on the inside, so I suggest cutting them with a knife. The only downside is the bag is really small and there aren't many inside - but I found the bigger bag for the dog treats is exactly the same and worth the cost. We have a corgi too, so I'll have to see if he likes them as well when the rest of my family are back from camping. I like to get treats they can share.

This brand of treats is superior to other brands, including the economy pack I bought at my local pet store. Somehow this brand makes the minnow tender rather than chewy and sinuous. But the most important factor for my picky kitties is the flavor. These must smell better too because they don't reject them like they reject bulk bags of dried minnows. It's definitely a premium product and my cats seem to know it!

1 out of my 5 loved the minnows! I have 2 kittens going to new homes ( 1 of those is the one that **loves** the minnows) and 3 adult cats. The 1 kitten is crazy about them! The rest (1 kitten and 3 adults) are not too sure... I would reccomend these as long as A) it's affordable to you. Or B) you have a friend/family/neighbor to give them as a 'kitty present' *just* in case your own kitty doesn't take to them. If they do, you won't be disappointed! I think its worth the try to be honest. I just held them and used my thumb nail to break them into 1/3 or 1/4 (depending on size). Unless your kitty is fully grown and sorta wild, I would reccomend breaking them up. Plus it releases a different smell that may entice them. I gave a 4 star because it's my first night trying them and the reaction that we recieved from the 1 kitten was well worth the money! Who knows.. the others may beg for them tomorrow!

Every morning before I leave the house, my cat eagerly waits in the kitchen for his daily Vital Essentials Minnow. It’s become our little ritual, and he absolutely looks forward to it. These treats are made from a single ingredient…whole freeze-dried minnows which means they’re free from fillers, grains, and artificial additives. I feel great knowing I’m giving him something natural and healthy.  The treats are lightweight and not greasy, making them easy to handle. Plus, they don’t have a strong odor, which is a bonus for me. My cat loves the crunch, and I appreciate that they’re high in protein and support his overall health. It’s clear these are a hit in our household, and I’ll definitely continue to keep them stocked!

My cats love there’s treats!! They are their favorite! I get two packs shipped to me every month! I typically cut the hearts in half depending on size. As soon as I open the drawer in where the treats are kept the cats, know “time for chicky hearts” and they always come running!! Highly recommended.

I WILL be purchasing this again.

Best Omega 3 solution in a treat
Both my cat and dog love these treats. It’s pricey but worth it. I got them because of their dander and I thought I was imagining it but nope - their coats are shiny and almost dander free after 3 days of one treat/ day. I have to break the little minnow up for my cat but my dog just eats it whole. Will continue to use!
Much too expensive
The product itself is fine, though there are hardly any pieces of heart for the price. Might be worth it for around 300 rupees and that would still be expensive -- just check with your local butcher
