After more than a couple years, this fireplace is still looking and functioning beautifully! I purchased one to help make my therapy room homey for my students, and one for a guest room over the garage to cozy it up and warm it in cold weather—and it does fabulously. This fireplace with its multiple settings continues to be my favorite Bolo purchase and generates positive comments from students, teachers and guests who stay in my home. So nice to write an all-positive review!

Easy assemble, fast delivery, provides warmth, quiet sound, and crackling noise is nice and realistic. Comes with a remote to control lighting, temperature, crackling volume and has a timer you can set.For the price you can't ask for more. Great quality. My cats already like it.P.S your mantel and insert might come separately so don't freak out. I almost returned my item because the insert came before the mantel and I thought they forgot it, but it came the next day. So be patient.

Looks cheap. Size as anticipated. Assembly easy except adding light. Remote doesn’t turn on heat intermittently. Style is great. Heats up fast.

The fireplace was easy to assemble. I will not be using the crackling sound as it sounds like popcorn popping with a muffled undertone. I like the sleek look and it puts off a good amount of heat.
