It's easy to use, and it works very well. I was able to get a solid reading on a cluster of trees 780 yards away. My Bushnell Scout DX wasn't able to hit them. I'm not using it for golf or for hunting -- I'm using it for informal surveying to measure distances to trees and buildings and their heights.For me, providing the angle of elevation and computed height of the object is essential. I want to know how tall a tree is or how high a roofline is. Using this rangefinder, I can just stand off a ways, view the top of the object, and get the line of sight distance, the horizontal distance, and the vertical height of the object.The only request I have is for them to add feet as a selectable unit of measure.

Right out of the box, it felt solid and well-built, but lightweight enough to carry without hassle. The display is clear, and the button interface is simple and intuitive – no fiddling with menus while your group is waiting.Slope mode is a game-changer. It adjusts yardage for elevation changes automatically, which has helped me make smarter club choices. You can also turn off slope mode easily for tournament play. The accuracy seems spot-on – I compared it to a buddy’s much more expensive model, and we were consistently within a yard of each other.The flag lock and vibration feedback are great features. When you lock onto the pin, it vibrates slightly so you know you’ve got the target – no more second-guessing. The rangefinder also picks up distances fast, even with trees or bunkers in the background.Battery life has been excellent so far – still going strong after several rounds, and it’s USB rechargeable, so no need to mess with tiny batteries.Bottom line: For the price, this rangefinder is a fantastic value. I've had the rangefinder for a bit, but have hardly used it. It worked well initially for a few shots per round. Today I needed it as GPS on cart was not working. The rangefinder was useless. It almost never was able to generate yardage. The few times it did, it was way off. Need to rely on sprinklers. Unfortunate. Update: I contacted the company directly and customer support responded immediately. Positive and helpful response. I suspect that this will be simply and efficiently resolved. A shout out to "Jim" in customer service. Changing rating from 1 -> 4 stars.

I purchased this range finder almost a year ago and it has been great for about 10 months. Price is great and range finder is well designed and easy to use. I did have some problems with it reading distances about a month ago and thought I would probably just have to buy a new one. Then I looked back and noticed the range finder haw two year warranty. I emailed Red TIger and they responded back in one day. Jim from Red Tiger sent me a new range finder and I just received it three or four days after sending the first email. You rarely will find a better customer service person that will resolve issues with such ease and in such a hassle free way. I can’t say enough about the wonderful customer service I received. You can feel comfortable in knowing that if you have any problems with their products they will make it right and treat you rarely in an extremely courteous manner.

The rangefinder works great and the slope feature is handy even though I normally don’t use it. The magnetic belt clip feels silly but is super handy, especially if walking or if the course is cart path only. The magnet itself is pretty good, but mine did fall off the cart the other day and I ended up running it over. The good news is it still works!

I have only used it for one round, but it seems accurate and locks on the pin pretty quickly, and I don't have the steadiest of hands. Magnet is very strong so it was always conveniently ready and I was never worried about it falling. Now if it could only fix my slice...

I had some issues with the my 1st purchase of this rangefinder which apparently was a defective unit. This company responded immediately and sent a replacement right away. After using the replacement unit, I found it to work very well. Accurate reads and lots of features packed in a compact device. A nice little carrying case as well. This rangefinder is a great value especially compared to all the really expensive ones out there.It's rare (but very refreshing!) to see a company respond so quickly and offer to address my problems.Thank you!

Easy to use and works as described

A great tool to help during practice and when playing.
Always struggled with estimating distances (to pin, to far side of creek/sand trap carries, other obstructions). This is easy to use and has helped me be more precise with my shots. I use it at the range to confirm distance to various targets. Improves precision of practice. Great on the course. Can switch off readings not permitted by golf’s governing bodies for tournament play. Can’t imagine playing without it. Holds charge a long time.Sometimes it is too easy to change readout, but easy enough to change back with push of button on top of unit.

Wasn’t expecting much but saw it being used by Golf Sidekick on YouTube. I was pleasantly surprised; easy to use, nice and clear. Accurate too.Customer services was really good and attentive. I had a general enquiry and they went above and beyond to answer my query.Would absolutely recommend this product
