I give 5 stars for the comforting thought that this could quickly smother a fire if needed. When I was growing up, we had a kitchen fire... so I like knowing that I have this to throw over flames if ever needed... and I hope I never need it, and IF I need it, that it works! I keep them by the kitchen stove, and by the wood stove.

Thankfully haven't needed it, but seems well built and like it will get the job done. Well designed for rapid deployment, and abundantly sized. I used a sticky hook from the hardware store to hang it. I initially bought it for someone older who'd have a hard time using a fire extinguisher, then decided to get one for myself and a couple extra for friends.However, PSA, major gas-off. I strongly suggest opening it outside, then taking the blanket out and let it set for a day or 2. In the sun. It's bad.

Great product at a lower cost than others. I opened it to look at the blanket and found one side either not completely sew together or the stitches came out. Not a big deal for what it is to be used for. However, the company reached out to me to me by e mail and asked how I liked the product and I mentioned about the stitching. They asked me for a picture which I sent and they immediately reached back out to me and asked I would like either a refund or replacement. I chose the replacement and received it in two days. As I stated I was not too concerned about it other than it was frayed. This company showed a genuine concern of customer and product satisfaction! I and ordering 4 more for my family. If you’re going to buy this for your home I highly recommend buying from this company.

Compact and easy to use. Gives piece of mind that it is quickly available incase of a small fire. Have one under the kitchen sink, one in the basement and one in the shop. Hope to never have to use, but for small fire is WAY less messy than an full on fire extinguisher (which we also have incase of a larger fire). Also gave one to my aging parents for their kitchen.

Fortunately, I have not had to use the fire blanket yet, but feel better having one available. Gave one to both of my adult children and placed one in my church's kitchen.

Fortunately, I have NOT used them. I am only saying that they come in a nice container/bag and they have a little hanging loop (so I hung one in the kitchen and one in the garage). It makes me feel a little more prepared.
