I have a black Jura 6 purchased 7 years ago. It still operates well and makes great cup of coffee. Bought this one for family member and she loves it. A few small changes over the years which I do like and know she will get years of service. Is cheaper to operate over the years than a Keurig- not to mention fresh ground coffee made for your cup is so much better than coming from a plastic cup that was ground a year prior.Jura will pay for itself.Note: I drink 3 to 4 cups everyday- is in excess 1500 cups per year. My bean cost is under $18.00 per month.My wife is a Keurig person spends $8.00 per week$32.00 per month and drinks only 12 cups per week- far less than me and her cost is 3 or 4 times as much (consider I drink twice what she does)Jura is better cup of coffee, simple economic choice and no land fill for plastic Keurig cups-

The seller is not an authorized distributor. I cannot get service from the manufacturer for a broken piece of plastic that occurred upon receiving the machine. I have to return the machine.

Love my Jura! This is our 2nd jura, the first having served us well for almost a decade. This jura is even better, offering a quieter grinding of the beans and a nifty cancel switch in case your beans don't fall into the grinding shoot properly. The taste of the coffee is always supreme. It's a daily joy. I absolutely love it.

I have owned this unit since September of '23. I do the required maintenance promptly. I have owned other Jura units for probably 20 to 30 years and have not had the problems I am having with this E6.The brew group is clogging AND I am getting Error 8 more and more frequently. I have set the grind as coarse as possible (set during grinding) and I have switched from dark roast to medium roast for less oily beans, but it hasn't helped. Now I am having to rinse the unit with the kitchen sink sprayer on a regular basis (not recommended).I could send it in for repair and cleaning, I could swap for a refurbished unit (I've done this with previous models as they've aged) but I don't want a superautomatic that is picky about which beans I use.Too bad, I have loved the ease and flexibility of Jura units for making many different coffee drinks.

This coffee machine is expensive but I have absolutely no regrets buying it. I drink a lot of coffee and until this machine apparently a lot of bad coffee. This machine functionality is so easy to use and it makes amazing coffee every time. I recommend getting a clear glass mug because it even looks amazing as it comes out of the machine. As for the cleaning, the directions come with the manual and are straight forward and easy to follow.
