I didn’t think this would be as simple as it is though. Out of the box it was simply putting a few bolts in place and plugging the handlebar into the battery and it was ready to go. It is built strong and I have no concerns that it would fall apart on me. It’s quiet too, I was almost able to sneak up on the neighbor because I rolled up on it to get and he didn’t hear me coming. It’s a sleek looking machine as well and is surprisingly light for how strong it is built. I was able to lift it up into my vehicle easily and being able to fold it down makes it simple to haul when I want to go somewhere and use it. Also I am surprised by how quick it is. At full speed it is faster than I could bike and it can go further than I would typically be willing to go on my bike. It is less of a quick get around and more like a vehicle for me. I like that it doesn’t launch you as soon as you touch the throttle either, mine seems to ease into the ride a little bit and then let me get up to a good speed. I was concerned when thinking about getting one that it would struggle to get up the hills on the trail by my house but it handles them with ease also. Battery life on this scooter is impressive, a full charge will last me a few days of running errands and even the occasional joy ride.

Having a Gotrax xr elite max electric scooter is a good way to commute from place to place whether its for work, school, quick market run, the beach or just to go to a friend's house weighting at a little over 30lbs its a better way to get around. I live in California near Los Angeles & if you are from around here or know the area you know how crowded Los Angeles gets specially on weekends. Having a Gotrax scooter beats driving around & around having to look for parking & if you do manage to find parking its far but no biggie because i take my Gotrax scooter with me in my trunk & yes it fits in small vehicle like corollas & prius. Its easy to fold & easy to unfold. Gotrax xr elite max electric scooter is a bit bigger & bulkier then the Apex electric scooter the Gotrax xr elite goes faster, last a bit longer & looks better. At least for me. Im 6'2. 243lbs & it can hold my weight with no lag on acceleration. Its very fun to use while still having a good excuse to use it (saves on gas lol) another feature that caught my attention how its possible to connect to my phone & lets me know the status of the scooter along with the mileage & other useful features aswell as on the LED screen it has. The xr elite has a working headlight and a working taillight for when riding at night. While other scooter have 8.5 inch tires the Gotrax xr elite max has 10 inch shock absorbing tires making the rides extra smoother & this is just to show how much the creaters for this Gotrax scooter did there homework & paid attention to details. Its the little things that matter.

Je l'utilise pour aller au travail et en revenir et c'est très plaisant surtout avec le beau temps. Je n'ai pas eu de mal à l'assemblée et comprendre tout son fonctionnement. La trottinette électrique est un peu lourde par contre mais c'est sûrement normal. Elle fait tourner des regards et des collègues en veulent une aussi maintenant.

The back tire came flat and can’t hold air and the charger heats very hot while charging

The media could not be loaded. As soon as we received the scooter, we tested it the next day to ensure it was working properly. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the back tire was either broken or flat right out of the box. We attempted to inflate it, but the air immediately leaked out, confirming the issue. Additionally, we noticed that the charger heats up excessively, which is concerning and shouldn’t happen.We would like to either return the scooter or have it replaced. We also hope that GoTrax improves its quality control process to prevent situations like this, as it creates unnecessary inconvenience for customers, especially given the size and weight of the item.Update: we end up returning the item as we contact them back in fort but takes time for there action, we have decided at first not to return and wait for the tire replacement that they will send but they send the wrong tire so that day we decide to return the item.

The old electric bike was thrown away and it was of this brand. We spent a lot of happy times with it, and it is great to use with great battery life and power. It is normal to have some discounts on battery life, but believe me, it is definitely a good product as the battery life can reach 110% in the first year. It can be folded and placed in the trunk. In fact, my wife and I can stand on it together. Once you use it, you will find that you can't live without it. It is really convenient. As long as the road conditions permit, it is the perfect match for people who don't want to walk when going out.

much better with 10inch tire

the 10 inch tire is so much better than my previous one bought from costco. big tires make the ride much smooth and comfy. like the design and easy to carry around. save me some walking time for sure with ease.

Broken charger cannot be replaced

I bought this scooter a little over a month ago, and then the charger as stopped working.The escooter itself is fine but now I cannot charge it.I have tried to buy so many different chargers to see if they would work and nothing will work to get it charging again.I would recommend staying away from this Escooter as the charger cannot be replaced.They do not offer replacement chargers on either Bolo or there website, so now after just over a month of having it, I'm down almost 1000k CAD$ with this useless scooter just sitting there. It's absolutely heartbreaking.Bolo, please let me return this item, or please send me a new charger from this actual product that will work.I spent so much on this just to help me get to work.
