Monitor an indoor or outdoor area with the ColorVu DS-2CD2387G2P-LSU/SL 8MP Network Turret Camera from Hikvision. This unit uses two 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensors to capture 5120 x 1440 resolution video at up to 20 fps. A supplemental white light provides up to 131' of illumination for recording full color video in low-light conditions. The camera features dual 4mm fixed lenses that deliver a 180° (±10°) horizontal field of view. Two-way audio is possible thanks to a built-in speaker and microphone, an audio input, and an audio output. An active strobe light and an audio alarm keeps intruders at bay. A built-in memory card slot supports microSD cards up to 256GB (available separately). Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable.
This camera complies with ONVIF profiles G, S, and T, making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. It is housed in an IP67-rated metal enclosure that is suitable for safe outdoor use.

It's really surprising how well this thing can find the light to render color images when it looks completely dark to the naked eye. Image clarity is not fantastic in that condition, but it's about as good as you could expect, especially given that it's a 180 degree camera.

Although this camera works well when I love the view, recently ran into an issue where I had to call tech support. US Tech Support would not help me because they said the camera is not in their U.S registry. You would think that this was from the manufacturer's website.It really won't matter but the camera was not purchased through a u s distributor. So the normal 3 year warranty.These cameras have doesn't apply through u s distribution.

Amazing image at night, The lightning where I live is standard city suburb type with front door LED light (dimmed at 50%) and old style "orange" street lights,Colors are visible the same way as if you were outside looking at the scene but, even clearer. It doesn't look like an artificial color boost where things look painted.I even went outside to look at the camera, to see if the supplemental lights were on but, this good quality image was with no extra lightning so, unless it's pitch black where you install the camera, the camera lights probably won't be needed.While it's not a 4K camera, the image is clearer than the one it replace that was sold as a 5mp (Hikvision 2048x1536 resolution from 5-6 years ago).The image stitch between the 2 lenses is practically invisible during the day, At night, there's a slight blur but you need to know where to look. I have it set to 2 meters (the minimum).For those who have problems with audio in Blue Iris, you need to enable the audio on the camera's 2nd stream. It seems like Blue Iris is handling many functionalities of this camera only via the 2nd stream.
