This tablet holder is solid! It has a strong grip, and the arm is made of metal. It feels quite durable. My only complaint is that the head is made of plastic and it is attached to the arm by four plastic tabs. It do worry it might get broken someday, but they do seem strong so I'm not that worried.

This holds an iPad securely, but the removable back plate is too loose and would fall off when trying to get an iPad on and off. It was more a bug than a feature so I super glued mine so the iPad holder is permanently attached to the clip and now it’s sturdy. Minor inconvenience, but now it’s a great product. The arm holds the iPad well in any position without sagging. The only weak point is the gripping clap. The rubber bands that come with it don’t last long before tearing and they won’t hold a position that is against gravity, but it’s very workable.

At first I really liked this for my iPad 12 Pro. After 2.5 months I noticed the clamp slipping on my mic stand. One of two rubber claw grippers shredded and the other is about to fall off. You also can’t use this with an Apple Pen as the side holders are in the way. Still searching for the ideal iPad holder. This is NOT it.Update: Now the 2 clamps’ spring tension has weakened and will not hold my iPad vertically without slipping down.Update 2: Feb 2025. The ball swivel socket is held on to the expando holder part with 4 tiny L-shaped protrusions that snap into the plastic back...which all just broke in moving the holder on a stand. This is NOT a gig worthy, nor strong device. I fixed it with 2 screws, CA glue, cotton and baking soda. The most important piece, incredibly under-engineered.

Sturdy and reasonably priced
I have had many others, much more expensive than this, it was bought last minute for a client and it worked really well. Sturdy, easy to use and stayed in place all evening through the gig.

I’ve tried many of these types of holders and by far this one is best hands down. Great quality, sturdy and holds my iPad with the case. As a gigging musician, I wanted to stop bringing another stand at every gig. This makes it look professional and very easy to set up.

Really like this iPad holder!
It is very sturdy and holds the position well. The only problem is I have an iPad 10 and it's a bit tricky to put in. Having said that, positioning is adjustable and user friendly.

The one downfall is that the whole item, generally well-constructed, relies on 4 tiny plastic lugs which break off after a few uses and render the entire item useless.
