The only story I have had the privilege to see where someone crosses a gip and gets a curse reversed. Maybe this movie is a starting point to a diet that works or just a caution not to cross gypsies or traveller's or what ever they are called in this Era now.

This is one of my favorite movies by Steven King. Good story, great effects. Picture and audio are both great. Definitely better than the first Blu ray. Shout Factory usually does a great job on their releases. This is definitely one of them.

Clásico de los 80 con efectos especiales de los 80.Buena película del maestro del terror.Desarrollada a partir de una idea simple,como muchos de los films de Stephen King.
La Maldición Gitana.
Adaptación del libro de Stephen King, con guion y dirección de Tom Holland, director de Child’s Play y Fright Night.Es una película ligera, que de alguna manera se ha perdido en el olvido hasta ahora, nunca llego a ser de culto como las cintas mencionadas, pero vale la pena ver como Holland siempre entrega cuerpo y alma en sus proyectos, es un director con buenos títulos pero de alguna manera con poco reconocimiento.La historia es sencilla, un hombre mata accidentalmente a una gitana, sale impune del delito y recibe una maldición donde empieza a adelgazar hasta volverse una calavera humana.Los efectos prácticos son buenos así como las actuaciones, pero la historia es corta para hacer una cinta de 95 minutos, así que algunas cosas se sienten de relleno o forzadas.Al final tenemos una cinta bien hecha, mejor que varias de la actualidad, vale la pena verla alguna vez.El Bluray de Shout Factory audio y subtítulo en inglés.NO tiene nada de español.

Jahrelang habe ich mich geweigert, diese DVD zu bestellen. Man liest hier ja u.a. von Bootlegs und fehlender deutscher Sprache.Entwarnung: Die Bildqualität ist für eine DVD sogar ziemlich ordentlich. Wenn man in den Einstellungen des DVD/Blu Ray-Players Deutsch als Sprache eingestellt hat, startet der Film auch gleich auf Deutsch.Ansonsten kann man auch im Film selbst die Sprache ändern.Aber: Im Hauptmenü der DVD lässt sich die Sprache komischerweise nicht einstellen. Lösung siehe oben.Thinner ist ein äußerst kreativer Gruselfilm mit fast schon abgefahrener Story, tollen Effekten und passablen Schauspielern. Der Film macht von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute Spass und die Atmosphäre ist sehr stimmig.Dazu gibt es neben guter Spannung auch noch einige humorvolle Einlagen.FAZIT: Toller Film, auch das Buch dazu von Stephen King ist sehr lesenswert.
